Another big game. Let's win the series tonight and head to Oakland on a positive note.

Edited by Chicago White Sox

Win tonight and it's our third straight series win.

Keep winning series. Keep winning series. Keep winning series.

A great performance from Chris last night. He unfurled his Sails! Jose needs to follow suit tonight

Just win baby.

Given how we've played there, having some momentum going in would definitely be a good thing.

Yes, they'll bus back to Chicago after the game and fly to San Francisco tomorrow night.

The one-city road trip to California...because that makes sense.

A lineup of Beckham (3B) and LaRoche (1B) -- and even Bonifacio over Johnson at 2B -- sure does sound like a nod to much-needed defense.

CWS 5/13: Eaton 8, Bonfacio 4, Cabrera 7, Garcia 9, LaRoche 3, Ramirez 6, Beckham 5, Flowers 2, Quintana LHP.

Interesting line up. Agree with giving Jose 2 days rest. Still would rather have Micah in there though. If we win it doesn't really matter so just win please!

i would have never thought of that. you are right.

It only took 6 weeks to figure they needed more defense. Well, better late than never. Now you can do the obvious thing and exchange Micah for Sanchez. Bonifacio isn't that great at 2B.

Doesn't hurt to have Abreu available to pinch hit for the pitcher in a big situation late game. I wouldn't call it a complete day off, because he will need to be ready to hit.

Anyone else think that on days Beckham and Bonifacio are both in the infield, they should be playing Beckham at second and Bonifacio at third? Just my opinion as it seems Beckham is better and the combo of Alexei and Beckham was always great on double plays up the middle.

Sure is nice to see Avi continuing to hit well. Give Abreu rest is good also. LaRoche needs to fill in and get that bat going

I can't figure this out because I'm a stupid face....

Can anyone give me stats on what the first hitter in each inning is hitting against us?

I am guessing Sanchez will not be up any time soon. He is having a bad month of May both in batting average and strikeouts.

Well, that's definitely not the obvious thing to do. You got to go through growing pains when trying to develop young talent and switching over to Sanchez isn't going to change that. Sanchez will have his struggles at the plate and even in the field, and he has far less upside than Micah. I think swapping them out right now, when Micah has not looked over-matched at the plate would be a lateral move at best for 2015.

Also, Sanchez was actually worse in his cup of coffee last year than Micah has been this year if you go by WAR.
