QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ May 3, 2011 -> 07:55 PM) I never said Mark should be in the HOF, nor did I compare him to Koufax. I simply stated a fact that cannot be argued. Sorry dude I know you didn't I quoted the wrong post

AJ disliked by his teammates
QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ May 3, 2011 -> 05:52 PM) Actually he has been quite good at blocking pitches in the dirt throughout his tenure on the South side. He has an average to slightly less than average throwing arm which is made to look worse because the Sox' pitchers have been terrible at holding runners and slow at delivering pitches to the plate. And intangibles do contribute at the major league level. Anyway, if you ever hear AJ do an interview he comes off as personable and it is clear that he has above average intelligence for a professional athlete. He can articulate coherent thoughts without inserting "you knows" and "I means" between every other word. He sure doesn't come across as an "asshole." Maybe it's the one or two "sources" who allege that his teammates don't like him who have the problem and are the real "assholes". Is that a young joakim Noah in you're pic?

Oz gives MB champagne and HOF vote on 150 wins
QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ May 3, 2011 -> 01:37 PM) He's only 15 short of Sandy Koufax. Not even with 200, mark wasn't dominating, hasn't won 20 games in a season and a few other milestones that they look at, If that's the case then Tommy John and Jamie Moyer are hall of famers

QUOTE (Bighurt52235 @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 07:32 PM) Is it just me, or does abybody else think Castro's arms, especially forearms, look surprisingly thin and unmuscular? Always been like that, I went to high school with Ramon

Ok, Now i catch you're Drift Yeah he was bad, I don't like to put down players from here but Jaime was Bad, He was bad and had an excuse for everything. I mean i remeber the game against the orioles the Sox gave him 9 runs and he coughed those up in the next half inning, then went on to say he didn't get any run support...

Least favorite Sox players
QUOTE(Pants Rowland @ Jan 14, 2008 -> 01:31 AM) I go back to about the '82 season. A lot of players had their ups and downs but none sucked so badly and was a bigger jackass than Jaime Navarro. His tenure on the south side still sticks in my craw. Honorable mention goes to Tony Phillips (good call by a couple posters). As a manager Terry Boom Boom Bevington is in the same camp, although I did not care much for Gene Lamont either. I still remember him saving a banged up Thomas for the 1993 World Series before the pennant was wrapped up. I am surprised I did not catch any Todd Ritchie votes. Maybe I missed it but he was really craptastic. Jaime Navarro played in 1982 with the Sox?

Least favorite Sox players
QUOTE(Heartattack19 @ Jan 14, 2008 -> 06:25 PM) Charlie O'Brien played for the sox the first part of 1998, i think he was the first White Sox Catcher to wear the Hockey style catcher's mask. God, Mike Bertotti, Todd Rizzo, Pat Daneker, Chris Clemons, Nelson Cruz, why do i still remember these names, for some reason i still have a Larry Thomas card hanging on my bulletin board. It has been there so long, i think it would be illegal to take it down! Whoa those are some sucky names from the past Thannks for the O'brien Info i looked it up after I posted

No way you can't hate the Milkman.... Ugh!!! Todd Rizzo Sucked. Chris Clemons Ugh!!!! I saw a draft log the year Clemons was drafted and the Sox passed up Lance Berkman and another one who i can't remember to draft him. Juan Marte (how many walks did he have that brought in a run?) Who's Juan Marte?? Joe Bread and Butter Sucked too. Dan Pasqua the Worst right fielder in Sox History
