    Another Chip Moment....... Last year Sox - Cubs at the gum Bowl AKA Wrigley... Ahhh Kerry Wood is wild today..... Partner, it's probably cause he doesn't feel right on his home mound cause he hasn't pitched here in a month.... Carlos Lee Grand Slam...     We did in 1993. Jason Bere And then he turned to s*** like, what, 2 or 3 years later? I know in 94 he was great....but he wasn't great for much longer after that. He then returned to the Cubs, where he blew chunks, and he signed with the Indians in the offseason. I think his shoulder then got cut open. Also....a player that came up and contributed right away...I don't know how much you put into 2000, but Buehrle did contribute quite quickly. Bere went 12-2 in 1994 and then in 1995 he lost 14 games with an ERA of 7. He blew out his elbow. was back in 1997 and was released and signed by the reds who then shiped him to Milwaukee who then traded him to the Indians in 2000 in the Sexson deal. Had sorta of a comeback in 2001 pitching really well for the Cubs. In 2002 he won 1 game and lost 9 sigend with the Indians in the off-season and now is gone for the season

  15. Jim Abbott wasn't a bust really. He pitched well in 1995 for the SOx and then got traded back to anaheim. He was resigned in 1998 and went 5-0 i think. H emoved on the Milwaukee and went 2-18 and retired
