you miss the point of the trade, it was to improve the team this yr, to solidify the pen where no one has to question who is going to be our closer. all of which was not accomplished. kw has been taken on most of his trade and that has been a fact. ok...maybe i did not get my thought across clearly.... i know what the point of the trade was and i know it has not worked ut in our favor.... yet.... i think we got to try to make the best of the situation.. i am not ready to give up on koch yet

come on now... i expect negative posts when we lose... but hey, we won tonight...cant we dream a little.... just for one day and dont pick on me... sometimes i get a childlike optimism when it comes to my favorite teams... it keeps me young at heart

that guy from oakland seems to have gotten the better of the trade right now..... i dont think it is because he is the genius he wants everyone to think he is.... that is the nature of trades.... sometimes they work out ok, sometimes not... billy koch is not out to pasture yet.... and anything can happen to foulke( i hope not) i think if koch cant get his velocity, he could learn another pitch and become a dominant closer again. there are a ton of stories about pitchers given up for dead who have come back and been successful (gagne, jose lima, even kerry wood) not time to panic yet

i mean jerry gets no love for the things he does that work... like pulling a double steal.... or that pitch out against the cubs.... he gets all the heat for everything that goes wrong.... i am just trying to keep some balance around here
