High School Draft Prospects
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 04:45 PM) BP's Kevin Goldstien has the Sox taking Tim Alderson. Of course, he also has Rick Porcello dropping to Detroit with the next pick. If we pass on Porcello or Wieters I'll be on suicide watch.

QUOTE(SnB @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 01:47 PM) Mr. Brooks was only ok. Going to see knocked up tonight, really looking forward to it. Undeclared is an amazing show. I thought it was pretty good, but they could have made the ending a lot better.

The Reason This Team is Bad, and Yes: It's Ozzie's Fault
KW deserves a lot of blame for this bullpen, but it's amazing how fast people forget all the good moves he's made.

Podsednik to start minor league rehab assignment tomorrow
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 01:38 AM) Oh god I hope he's not around next year. He shouldn't even have been brought back for this '07, a 4th season of Podsednik could be enough to kill me. I do agree though, the only real way for Podsednik to get his legs back at this point is probably to just take 10 months or so off and just concentrate on rehab. Him coming off the DL will be a plus, but there is no way he should be back next year.

High School Draft Prospects
I want Main if he's there. I am still hoping (wishful thinking) that Matt Wieters somehow drops to us because of signability.

2007 College World Series Thread
QUOTE(daa84 @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 10:31 PM) we lost another tough one to michigan....we just burned through too many pitchers this weekend.....price looked dominant in his 1st inning tonight after his 129 pitch outing on friday...but he just didnt have his best fastball and the michigan kid laid into a 3-1 heater.....i gotta give those guys credit, they were one of the best hitting teams i saw all year...every guy had a great approach and they hit the bal the other way with authority better than anyone ive seen this year......just an incredible game either way....alvarez got robbed of a game tying homer in the bot. of 10th...tough loss but mich played well and they got just enough pitching to edge us 4-3 twice this weekend Was hoping Vandy would win so I could see Price and Alvarez. I kinda think Vandy screwed up pitching Price friday.

White Sox vs. Yankees, 6/4/07 (W)
I take back what I said about this ESPN broadcast being refreshing, they have talked about the Yankees 95% of the time.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 07:10 PM) Wow DeSalvo is done. Betrayed by his defense. I know Desalvo sucks but that is a quick hook. It's amazing how Torre burns out his bullpen every year.

White Sox vs. Yankees, 6/4/07 (W)
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 07:02 PM) How in the world did this team just go and forget how to bunt? Uribe never knew how to bunt.

QUOTE(chisox72 @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 06:25 PM) I am not either. f*** Hawk. I am not ready to start hearing about Cy DeSalvo and his days of playing against the Yankees. ESPN's people will do just fine... You don't get WCIU in Mokena?
