first of all, Pedro freakin' rocks... then I'd pick up Low's new disc. reconsider Appleseed Cast, quickly Radiohead was great live, but tend to be over-rated just like the beatles finally, I'd download the song "miserere" by the gloria record. BTW, what are your favorite bands? just for the record, I'm not a huge fan of post hardcore music, I just like some of the bands that you'd define as emo. I really hate deathcab, pop unknown, cambria, etc...

My dad was in a band called "the inrhoads" and then "Future" in the 60s in Southern Cal. His band opened for the Yardbirds right after clapton left. (he left because "for your love" was too pop for his tastes) love the yardbirds....I'll stay away from this topic for peaceful reasons. Although I will say that every band I like today, is majorly influenced by the aforementioned bands. So I can recognize their brilliance, without actually liking the bands themselves.

Start of arguement #12,494,397 on soxtalk... I would make the arguement that Justin Timberlake is actually quite talented, however, he's caught in the horrible place of making music in one of the worst periods in history. The dude can sing, and not in the "who wants to be the next pop american idol millionaire" lame way. I mean I'm not saying he comes even close to S&G and the likes, he just reminiscent of MJ in the eighties.

That's funny for my generation to think about, because I see Automatic for the People, Monster, and New Adventures in Hi-Fi as three of my favorite albums...only for me to sour to REM with their subsequent releases. I listen to Green, Murmer, Epynonmous (sp?), too...good albums.

yeah, my problem is that my phone cheated on me with my washing machine. all sorts of messy, and I'm just about to switch services. so I'm looking into ATT, cingular, and verizon.

I don't know about that particular game, but I know a program called serials2000 is good for that stuff.

I like advertising these bands because they're worth listening to, IMO... though I am quite opinionated, I truly love music and like to share that connection with people. I hate commercial radio, so I hope that the bands I like don't ever make it that far (towards hell). The music industry tells you what to like...I like to tell the music industry to go to hell. I mean, I don't like metal for the most part, but I give props to Cali for diggin' it and loving that scene because it's not pop crap.
