  1. QUOTE (MattZakrowski @ Dec 13, 2009 -> 11:33 AM) BA has a place in the majors (if you can call the NL that) as a bench player. The others, not so much. i think reed might still have a chance
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 12, 2009 -> 11:55 PM) Didnt he have a pretty significant injury in Seattle that he never was the same afterwards? he had a wrist injury when he ran into the wall in CF he also broke his thumb
  3. I'd rather have flowers get more AB's and games behind the plate before he comes up to the Sox. I wouldn't mind seeing Olivo back...I remember when he hit that grand slam against the cubs at wrigley in like 2003
  4. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 13, 2009 -> 08:34 AM) My dad supposedly has SuperBowl 20 in beta. Beta? That be awesome to watch that if you can find a player
  5. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Oct 6, 2009 -> 03:11 PM) Lillibridge is not getting hazed. Thats just how he dresses all the time. the other day my mom asked who the little kid was on the team. She was 100% serious
  6. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Oct 3, 2009 -> 12:55 PM) Sure does seem like alot. We already have an expensive fatboy who has back issues only because of fatness. Why do we need another guy who has zero respect for his own body. It's risky trading for someone out of shape, and I think that factor would have to WEIGH into the deal. I'm funny but also serious. Just because someone is fat doesnt mean they dont take care of their body.
  7. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 30, 2009 -> 09:23 PM) If Pods is back, Kotsay isn't. Cant Kotsay take Wise's spot?
  8. Mark Kotsay doesn't know how free agency will work out for him this offseason. But the reserve infielder/ outfielder does know where he would like to be come 2010. From the way White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen has been raving about Kotsay's leadership and presence off the bench, the feeling seems to be mutual. I'd be willing to take him back for his wife alone. Think he'll be back? Do you want him back?
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 26, 2009 -> 10:30 PM) BTW, after reading this article, it has changed my mind a little on the situation. I have a feeling that there's a particular veteran(s) that Ozzie is referring to and it wouldn't shock me at all if someone very popular with the fans is traded this offseason and many wonder why. I don't think anyone will disagree with the fact that there is something really wrong with the Sox clubhouse for a second straight year, and it's time something is done about it. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseb...0,5331631.story who is the veteran?
  10. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 31, 2009 -> 11:00 PM) I'm hearing Boston. They getting BA back?
  11. QUOTE (Markbilliards @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 10:50 PM) When people boo him, they don't know why they're booing him. Similar to how when they root for the Cubs, they don't know why they're cheering for them. So true
  12. This makes no sense...i was going to say little but then i realized it made no sense
  13. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Aug 26, 2009 -> 09:30 PM) He just sounds like a dork when he talks....very knowledgable though... yes and i think thats why i dont like him....his red hair annoys me also
  14. QUOTE (daa84 @ Aug 26, 2009 -> 08:46 PM) 1.) zach zaidman covers the bears for the score and he is excellent and 2.) we are just now realizing how worthless cowley is? i know he does the bears i was just saying that i dont like him...well i also dont like the bears
  15. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 26, 2009 -> 08:48 PM) Yeah that really matters. it does...i got beer and lunch riding on it
