  1. Before I look: Gibson better be on top. Huh. Sudden Sam, good. Eddie Feigner has no business on this list Clemens? Good choice for nine. Glad he's not higher. Kingman? What was intimidating about him? Nolan Ryan should be behind Clemens. Canseco/McGwire? Hersheiser? Terrible list, overall.
  2. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 08:09 PM) Just wait until Erstad has a statistically significant # of at bats. Just wait. I was talking defensively, actually. Erstad > Anderson. Also with the bat. I think that'd be true in a full season for them both this year. Certainly true when we consider that Erstad has better bat control and doesn't look like a child on breaking pitches.
  3. I don't think Anderson should start over Erstad. Over Podsednik, yes, but if it's Erstad or Anderson, then it's Erstad.
  4. What's wrong with Crede to start this season? Bah. Popping everything up.
  5. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 11:08 AM) Personally, I feel terrible for Brian. He is a sack full of talent rotting away on the pine because somewhere in Ozzie's f***ed up head, he decided he didn't like the guy, with absolutely nothing to back it up. Poor Brian. I hope we trade him. Personally, I feel terrible for Ozzie. He is a man full of talent and experience being criticized on a message board with absolutely nothing but conjecture to back it up for ruining a young stud's career simply because he has a f***ed up head and decided not to like him with absolutely nothing to back it up.
  6. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 10:53 PM) You hear the fans.. What're they saying?
  7. Also: an arrested trainer + FBI documents. Operation Equine.
  8. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 10:45 PM) What game did Aardsma do that? Game two of this season.
  9. Boo! CONGRATULATIONS, MAN! Seriously. (The boo had to be there. SOMEONE had to pretend to be negative.)
  10. I never said it was unimpressive. Felix has got what I'm saying.
  11. Two things: another milestone Thome's after. Kind of interesting. As far as Pedro + 3000 K, It's become less than it was. I still look forward to the day when Pedro does it, I love Pedro, but 3000 Ks just aren't what they used to be.
  12. 3000 Ks. Not the achievement it used to be but still an achievement.
  13. Yeah, let's stop trashing his wife, please. We don't know anything. I was just asking because I'd read that and hadn't heard it before. I really hate seeing this turn into a smearfest of anyone.
  14. Why not? No wonder he hated the Sox after leaving.
  15. Podsednik NEEDS to swing more often. Just put the ball in play. He doesn't have a poor swing or anything.
  16. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Apr 9, 2007 -> 09:31 PM) I don't see how in the world he would get served papers in the clubhouse. They wouldn't let Carlton Fisk in the clubhouse during the 1993 playoffs. No way they'd let a process server in. I don't buy it. Perhaps he was informed in the clubhouse. There are signs of truth to Contreras + unhappy in all of this on Opening Day. So terrible and sad. Can you tell me what happened with Fisk + 1993 playoffs? Backstory and then what happened there?
  17. Oh, my heart really does go to Contreras, if that's the case. Jose's an inspiration, IMO. Most Cuban pitchers are.
  18. http://www.southsidesox.com/comments/2007/...22021/12796/3#3 Man, that'd be terrible, if true, to a) be divorced, in his case (and most any case) and b.) to be divorced like that. Has anyone else heard anything about this or is this just some dude on the Internet?
  19. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 8, 2007 -> 10:18 PM) send down BA too since he can then play everyday, apparently Erstad has won that spot. Yeah, Erstad has earned that spot. I doubt BA can competently hit to oppo field right now, lay down bunts, drag them or steal. he should be in the minors working on it.
