Capn12

Not a lot of hope for this one. Getaway day lineup + Keuchel + no TA or Yas behind the plate = Concern.

At least this year, its different! Advanced rate of offensive disappearance, it started in July.

True. Guess I should say the rare TWO footnotes for 'wtf?' trades.

If Madrigal finds a way to ever stay healthy, Hahn will get plenty of 'remember that terrible trade...' footnotes attached to himself.

It is 100% a trade KW would have done, almost like he is still pulling strings...

This team is just a repeat of last year's Sox: a feel good story about a 'smaller payroll' team making it to the post-season, then getting removed quickly thereafter.

If we hadn't invested in that switch that allows the team to instantly be good in the postseason, I'd be worried!

Well....22 million in options not to exercise in the offseason, come on down <Insert RFer or 2B here>!

Can we send Marty and Doc back, to the trade deadline, and steal Hahn's phone before talking to the Cubs?

You keep an eye on runners, for a reason, so you don't get in that exact situation. Whatever, this game was mailed in a long time ago.

And.......there you go.

So glad we never make a single effort to keep a runner where they are.

Boy, this offensive performance tonight is just....

OK, well....guess we got our 4 hits for the game, and that is that.

Of course, as soon as I post that, the skies have closed up.

Boy, do we have a great Designated (not to be a good) Hitter tonight!

Seriously, this weather is terribad. Just gonna keep on playing, huh?

Yoan got quite a lot on that throw, considering his body's direction.

Gavin, he ace'd you brother...it happens.

Dang, poor dogs stuck out in that mess in Detroit....oh, AND being stuck in Detroit at all!

Gavin, while I can certainly understand that not even you trust Hernandez to do anything right, that one isn't the one to go get.

Grandal is just beastly.

Just beating the ball into the ground, over and over.

I'd go on record as saying, Carlos' shoulder is still 'fatigued'.

Get 3 runs, give em all right back.
