2-8, 5.45 ERA for prized player Michael Kopech.- Sox/Marlins 7/7/24 GT
And........boom goes the dynamite. 4-1 into the 7th, BTW. I can't wait until Eloy and Kopech are playing in ..........well, anywhere else.- Sox/Marlins 7/7/24 GT
Mental Midget doesn't begin to cover it. Wait, can we still say that? Mental 'short person'.- Sox/Marlins 7/7/24 GT
Oh, couldn't set this one up any better.- Sox/Marlins 7/7/24 GT
What a heckuva bullpen this team has.- Sox/Marlins 7/7/24 GT
Surprise!- Sox/Marlins 7/7/24 GT
Wait, what?- Sox/Marlins 7/7/24 GT
Good start.- Sox/Marlins 7/7/24 GT
Lenyn Sosa, your soon to be team leader in BA.- 7/6 Games
And yeah, that is what I get for assumption on the MILB stats, assuming PA was the first stat. So 78 K's in 184 PAs. That is still WELL over 200 K's in a normal season, in Rookie/A ball. That'd be new MLB record-esque against better competition. Hopefully he continues to improve, he clearly is trending up lately. I also feel pretty safe in saying his absurd .529 BABIP won't be a normal thing, either.- 7/6 Games
I definitely think he is improving, but lets not sit here and get all googly eyed at the power, without at least admitting that there is still a LOT of work to be done on the free swinging.- 7/6 Games
I mean.....78 K's in 158 ABs. You're right, he isn't striking out 50% of the time, it is only 49.4%. And no, it hasn't gotten better in A ball, it has gotten worse.- 7/5: Apparently we are playing Miami in Miami
Lenyn Sosa currently with the 2nd highest BA on the team. And to think, some wanted him jettisoned off forever, because he hadn't taken advantage of his whopping career 200 ABs coming into 2024.- Sox at Guardians 5:40 CST (Gavin Williams in his season debut vs. Fedde)
Lord, RIP Korey Lee's playing time.- Sox at Guardians 5:40 CST (Gavin Williams in his season debut vs. Fedde)
OK brother...if you give up RBI hits to BOTH Maldonado AND Benintendi, go ahead and announce your retirement.- Sox at Guardians 5:40 CST (Gavin Williams in his season debut vs. Fedde)
Hey now....he has 6 RBI ALREADY this season....- Sox at Guardians 5:40 CST (Gavin Williams in his season debut vs. Fedde)
Maldonado delivers on his 11th hit of the season. It is July 3rd....- Sox at Guardians 5:40 CST (Gavin Williams in his season debut vs. Fedde)
Holy hell...- Sox at Guardians 5:40 CST (Gavin Williams in his season debut vs. Fedde)
Its ok, I'm sure Maldonado will get the job done here....- Sox at Guardians 5:40 CST (Gavin Williams in his season debut vs. Fedde)
Well, it is only fair, for all of the dogging on AV for April-May, let's not let his last 30 days go unnoticed:- Sox at Guards Jo Noah was right about Cleveland game thread 7/2
And Beni hitting 2nd, what a stud.- Grifol surprisingly defends Robert, annoys more Sox fans...must be trying to create any "supportive good vibes" possible before a trade?
Goodness, I didn't even look at that graphic close enough....how in the world was pitch 3 AND 4 a ball? I didn't watch the game, admittedly, only followed on Gameday.- Grifol surprisingly defends Robert, annoys more Sox fans...must be trying to create any "supportive good vibes" possible before a trade?
Maybe don't groove it down the middle, to the one of the Naylor boys, who have made the Sox their whipping boy almost every time they are at the plate? Maybe that was a bigger issue?- Sox at Guards Jo Noah was right about Cleveland game thread 7/2
Piped down the middle, to the biggest chump on the Cleveland team. Bravo, Kopech. - Sox/Marlins 7/7/24 GT
