Capn12

Let's see if we can beat Boston, period. I get its only one game blah blah as some say but......these dudes have smoked us for 4 games now. At some point, hot or not, you gotta prove you can beat a team you'd see in the postseason.

Great AB there, Tristan

Pretty sure Martin's worst 3 games this season were 2 against Boston, 1 against NYY. So...the good teams we play.

Big oof.

Davis Martin has entered his 'over 4 ERA' period in 2026.

Nah, Martin can wear it for 4-5 innings.

These balls are getting hammered now.

Jesus,. well that is that for tonight.

Lol, ok then.

Well, looks like Davis is in a hit giving mood already.

Romo has to be on about life #5 of his 9 lives in the big leagues.

Not the team I want to play right after the trade deadline, for sure. I'm hoping for 2 of 3, but sadly, be happy with 1 of 3.

Clooney/Pitt. Casey Affleck and Scoot Caan pull the ole buddy/pal routine.

I heard the pal, guy routine on Ocean's 11 first.....maybe I'm just old.

Yeah….about that….

If the idea was to not move any of our big names in the minors, but to try and find some help out there, mission accomplished. Bart, bullpen help, Castillo are ok to me. The terrible Doyle move is the only one I think was completely offcourse.

Yep Pereira finally did something good, and DFA'd. I have a feeling we're going to stick with Grichuk and Hays will be done away with as well.

We've got some roster work to do either way, way too many platoon OFers and Romo finally going to go join Charlotte.

Bart, he of the Barts with negative DRS over his career? That Bart? Uh....

Nothing says successful Trade Deadline quite like grabbing Brenton Doyle and calling it a day. I doubt its done, though.

Giving up Vielma in this deal is...stupid. Doyle was certainly a questionable pickup just for Adams, but Getz is like 'here, have this 16 year old kid destroying the ball, as a throw in!'

This is terribad to me, lord.

We traded Mason Adams for Brenton Doyle???? WTF kinda deal is that?

Doyle? Eww, we already have Brenton Doyle at home, no thanks.

My man is getting hit hard.
