  1. DeWayne Wise, wow what a choice for leadoff hitter
  2. Its the Gil Meche show, ladies and gentlemen!!
  3. Haha...picking Clemson at all is a pretty deadly mistake. Michigan wins that game and sends the Clemmers home early yet again.
  4. Clemson is an absolute joke, as always every year they go undefeated against Pork and Bean State, Sisters of the Poor University, etc. Then the real season starts, the ACC, and they show their true nature: an average team in a conference that they can't succeed in. Congrats on your 1 and done Clemmers, and prepare for the same next week.
  5. Good ole Big 12 tourney...what the hell is going on there? Ok State and Baylor huh..
  6. Co-SEC East Champions with Tennessee Not bad for a team that won 5 conference games last year. Darrin Horn has done in less than a year, what Dave Odom couldn't do: adapt a sound strategy and play style that fits the players he had, not try to force it the other way around. I consider 21-8, 10-6 in conference a pretty damn good 'first' year for Coach Horn.
  7. Re:Kiffin, Gotta love an assclown of that stature writing checks that he sure as hell can't backup. I'm not sure exactly what the hell he is thinking, but congrats to him for painting his own face as a target for 11 other SEC teams, before even coaching his first game at Tennessee.
  8. Wake Forest, how thee hath fallen...
  9. Can't complain about our class this year. Top 15, with lots of skill players, but we really needed to secure Quinton Washington, and not let him slip away to Michigan. But stealing Alshon Jeffrey back from USC makes up for that I guess.
  10. I don't get the hype over anything that Lane Kiffin spearheads...I mean, at what point has he done something in his coaching career to make you think "Wow, we need that guy on our sidelines!!" He grabbed David Reaves from South Carolina, and I couldn't say Good Riddance fast enough as a S. Carolina fan. GL with those hires, all the recruiting in the world doesn't matter when you have a hapless hack as a Head Coach.
  11. Hooray for XBox 360 RRoD 6 days before Christmas!! Look it up online: Your warranty expired 6/5/2008 GREAT!! "You can send your XBox 360 in for us to look at and repair. Minimum cost: $94" I don't think so... $7 worth of machine screws and Nylon washers later, working XBox. Nice faulty design though Microsoft, bravo on the X Clamps.
  12. Its rather sad when you let Miss. St. make a bigger hire than you if you are Auburn. Congrats again, Bobby Lowder!!
  13. At this point, I'm not sure there are any coaches left in the USA that haven't interviewed for the Auburn job. TT shoulda never been fired, but with that asshat Bobby Lowder running the show in those parts, what he says goes.
  14. I'm not sure what people see in Alabama that makes them think Bama will be able to slow this Florida offense down...are they undefeated? yep, can you name an impressive win that they've had this year?
  15. Damn, maybe if I just speak of each guy like that while they come to the plate...
  16. For someone that didn't want to talk about anything but getting a shot in the post season once more, Jim Thome = monumental disappointment in this ALDS.
  17. Wow, EXCELLENT approach at the plate this inning...
  18. Eh...even when we have em picked off, we dont
  19. Oh man, do we rock Nice job of backing up your mouth, OC
  20. QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 2, 2008 -> 03:17 PM) Vazquez was good on a s***ty 2007 Sox team. Vazquez was s***ty on a pretty good 2008 Sox team. Stakes are raised, returns are lowered. That's Javy Vazquez. :Perfect Summary:
  21. Nice to see Clayton Richard has the balls that Javy Vazquez lost somewhere after turning into a professional baseball player.
  22. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 2, 2008 -> 03:10 PM) I dont even understand how some of you consider yourselves Sox fans. Javy is the Sox 4th starter, due to having to play the last few weeks we could not set the rotation. Javy is not supposed to shut down the other team, he is supposed to keep the Sox in the game so that we have a chance to win. Anyone expecting more is just setting themselves up for failure. If this was any other pitcher people would be talking about how easy grounders were getting through our infield, how we let pop ups drop, how the Sox couldnt get a double play. but since its Javy you all just want to kick him around. f*** that, Im not going to sit here and say hes good, but I at least respect the effort that he has given to the Sox. Are you watching the same Javy Vazquez that I am? In the black uniform that says "Sox" on it?
  23. If there is a #33 on the field in the Southside next year, it better damn well not be Cheese Nuts Vazquez
  24. I've never seen such a bigger pile of useless dogs*** that claims to be a starting pitcher in Major League baseball.
