I wanted both of them to move down the order, have more days off, etc while they were struggling mightily, but no I never wanted them off the team. The only ones I've wanted to see have an extended time away from the lineup are Uribe for the last month or so, and Alexei at the start, just because who'da thought he'd get a grasp on major league hitting so fast? I thought he would have benefited much more with time in Charlotte. Thats why I'm a Network Engineer, and Kenny and Ozzie are making the baseball decisions.

This series has to be absolutely demoralizing for Minnesota....they have been outplayed in all facets of the game, and every starting pitcher we run out there on paper looks very tough for them to hit on

I must say, after giving this organization a LOT of grief over keeping Alexei up o nthe roster when he looked clueless at the plate, I was way wrong...the guy can flat play this game at a major league level.

I've seen Smoak play his whole career at South Carolina obviously, and I'm still much happier with the Beckham pick. Middle infileders with a good bat are harder to get than 1B/DH types. I don't get all the peoples animosity....guys who play first/DH that have power are a dime a dozen, and yes I know he is a switch hitter.
