  1. Eh....great pitch to chase, I see OCab got some hitting pointers from Uribe.
  2. Lets get it goin OCab....get 7-8 hitters up here in the 3rd.
  3. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 03:35 PM) It looks like he pulled something. yeah definately, though seemed to be walking ok off the field. I don't wanna celebrate any potential injury, thats silly. But nice to have one of their weapons out of the game.
  4. OK, well its time to get a couple runs back here and there. Hopefully Konerko and Dye will show up at some point today against CC, and the rest of the team can give us something to cheer about.
  5. Hah, I can't wait to see Masset et all for 6+ innings! /ace Buehrle
  6. Round and round, the Cleveland batting order goes...
  7. ChiSox killer Grady Sizemore...continues to kill. Go team.
  8. Wow....you just got served by Gutierrez....after being up 0-2
  9. Bravo mlb.TV, bravo....you can go ahead and....start working...anytime you want now...
  10. What the hell...MLB.tv still showing me their crap blue screen....the game has started, catch up already!
  11. QUOTE(kwolf68 @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 02:40 PM) I honestly believe M-Cab will hit .320+, 40 homers, and 120+ rbis this year...his OPS, OBP and SLUGGING will be equally as obscene and he will finish among the league leaders in MVP this year. He is a dynamic talent and being out of baseball Siberia will help him. He would have looked good at third base in CHicago, but we just didn't have enough to get him I guess...for all KW's faults, he did try to get this guy. Oh well... 40 HRs in that cavern of a stadium? I don't know about that part.
  12. QUOTE(Cali @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 02:34 PM) Gordon CRUSHED that ball \m/ That was some kind of meatball Verlander served up with a 3-1 count, absolutely hammered.
  13. The season starts, its time for me to critique how bad the team messes up everytime!! GL ChiSox circa 2008
  14. Haegar kinda not having a great 2nd inning here.
  15. QUOTE(iamshack @ Jan 25, 2008 -> 04:14 PM) Actually, that brewpub is gone. Now it's just a regular grill...booooo...but I do like the Monte Carlo...stayed there my first trip back in 98'... Are you serious? Granted, its been since July 05 since i've been to Vegas, but the Monte Carlo Brew Pub was the ONLY reason I went into that place....its a sad day then, that was always the place I went my first day in Vegas, 11 trips worth...
  16. Actually, at 40", you have to be sitting more than 6 feet away to notice any difference between 720p and 1080p. There is a pretty decent chart here that gives a viewing distance vs. Screen Size comparison. For the money, and the quality, very few TVs touch the Samsung LN-T4665. 46" 1080p/24 Hz. It is down to about $1500 now, which is an absolute steal for a TV this great. They have their 120 Hz version out now, LN-T4671, but it is still way too expensive for the average consumer.
  17. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Dec 18, 2007 -> 05:36 PM) I succumbed and got Guitar Hero 3. Seeing Prayer of the Refugee as one of the bonus tracks pushed me over the edge. Has anyone been playing Rock Band? I've put GH3 aside for Rock Band the last few weeks. I actually suck bigtime at the drums, but picked up the mic, and having tons of fun with it. Up in the top 700 overall for vocals. As for "Prayer of the Refugee" in GH3, I still play that one lots when on GH3.
  18. Frank is the main reason I went from being a casual baseball fan, to an avid ChiSox fan. I watched him in the SEC down here in my part of the country, and thought "Good lord this guy is a monster. He is going to crush the ball in the bigs." Here we are 18 or so years later, and the man has done everything the right way in the game, and deserves to not even have to sweat a first time ballot entry into the HOF. Cheers to you, Mr. Frank Thomas
