  1. Well, the organization will have their chance to upgrade the SS position after this season...we'll see what they want to do.
  2. This looks alot like the 2001 and 2002 Sox teams on the West Coast, and thats definately not a good thing.
  3. WTF??? we gotta have about 8 LOB already...all it takes is one good hit in that situation, and the energy will seep away from the ANgels...we keep letting them hang around, as bad as their hitting has been, they'll find a way.
  4. Uh-oh....Molasses Konerko is gonna be up with bases loaded again....c'mon Paulie...no Damn groundballs!!! anything in the air will work.
  5. Well, 2004 is more likely to be the year that USC could take the SEC....LOTS of youth this year, but lots of talent for Lou and Skip to work with....I'm pumped, got my season tickets in the mail last week, such a beautiful sight!!!
  6. Ricardo Hurley, our LOLB, Kenny Irons, the starting RB, and Syvelle Newton, the future QB.
  7. f***ing Molasses Konerko....he is ALWAYS up with a potential DP on the line
  8. Of course the one time that we want David Wells to do something good, he reverts back to his White Sox persona...and back problems convolute his start
  9. Well, now you know who is going back to AAA to make room for Cotts.....if Olivo is ready.
  10. They are beating Cleveland and Detroit, call me when they beat someone worth a s***. Ditto....easy to win games(except for us) when you are playing crap teams

  12. Ouch...too bad about the whole bru-ha-ha....Heather is making waves across the internet with her behavior.
  13. Well, it appears that our soon-to-be roster move of adding Cotts to the MLB roster is a good fit. #1 it gives us another lefty in the rotation, albeit not in the right place (see below); #2 It keeps Danny Wright out of the rotation, and in the bullpen where he could be more effective. There is much good to come out of the move, as long as they leave it this way. Wright gives us the righty long relief guy we DESPERATELY needed to replace Rick White. He gies us righties in the Pen consisting of Koch, Wright and Gordon. And then we have 3 lefties as well, Marte, Wunsch, and Schoeneweis. That bullpen makes me MUCH happier than previous versions this year. Now, we have 2 lefties in the starting rotation...signifigant advantage IMO. BUT, here inlies the problem...we have them both back to back. When an off day comes, and gives us the chance to realign the rotation, I am sincerely hoping that we do so. My belief is that Cotts and Buehrle would be MOST effective with Colon going between them. There are few teams in MLB that could successfully adjust to facing a control lefty, followed by a power dominant righty, followed by a finesse lefty again. There would be some seriously bad swings being taken. So, it is my hopes that this can soon be done. Your thoughts?
  14. While I like the idea of ranking the conference coaches, this guy has no f***ing clue when it comes to Holtz right now. He is more focused on this football season than ever at USC, and 2004 as the potential year, with all the youth on the team. So...Maisel, good article, but make sure you have all the facts straight.
  15. Fantastic news, overall....hers my only problem with it, and it has nothing to do with Cottsy himself...Cotts goes Tuesday, and Buehrle Wednesday. To the casual eye, that probably doesn't matter, but to the baseball-savvy ones, that means that we have 2 lefty, finesse pitchers going back to back. I would LOVE to have it set to where it was Cotts, Colon, Buehrle, or Buehrle, Colon, Cotts. That would cause major issues for a lot of teams, catching a lefty finesse, then a righty power, and then lefty control in that order. Nonetheless, hopefully it won't matter cause we will win regardless. Congrats Cotts!
  16. Wasn't too long ago that we put alot of hopes into a pitcher straight up from AA.....I think his name was Mark Buehrle?
  17. That Harden kid is definately a VERY good pitcher....17th round pick??? Scouting failed some people on that one...Got a REAL good arm, pitch counts may be his only enemy right now.
  18. and, most importantly.... Esteban f***ING Loaiza!!
  19. If ya like chicks that are hopelessly addicted to cocaine, she is definately the hottest coke head I know!!! Then again, thats all heresay

  21. I'm not afraid to submit a retort on my previous comments...but it did seem that Rowand was the right call for tonight. Good job Carl.
  22. HELL YES!!! f***ING OUTSTANDING effort by Buehrle, way to go Mark.
  23. Yeah..Everett in LF, and Harris in CF....why not Rowand? I dunno
