A 1.07 WHIP, 1+ K/IP.... Sorry Brando, what you say isnt true. Maybe he jsut didnt have the velocity tonight. Its obvious that sometimes he doesnt, the KC game was horrid as he fired 92 MPH straight missle after the other right down the plate. All I'm saying, is get off Koch's ass people. What f***ing baseball game did you clowns watch today? Because the 1 I saw had us strand 14 f***ING runners on base....it saw Adkins give up a FAT pitch to Mark Kotsay of all people to lose the game....and yet we are harping on the guy that made 2 great pitches, bot resulting in 2 broken bat singles. Don't know how you can lump the problems that Politte has had this year with those of Marte and Koch. Lookin at the game logs, Koch has had exactly 1 s***ty game all year, Marte has had 2, and Politte has had 5....5 games where he pitched less than an inning and gave up 1 or more runs. I'm not worried about Marte, I'm sure as hell not worried about Koch. Politte, on the other hand, is a complete anamoly.

So when I hear people b**** and whine on game threads about someone getting on, I just kinda smile. The stats from his 2002 season say it all for his effectiveness vs. his ability to 1-2-3 the other team. Just thought it was some good information to pass on.

Cali, unfortunately Fox has ALWAYS had too quick a hook on some of the best stuff on TV. The first season of John Doe IMO was a great show, and they yanked it. Family Guy's yank was just idiotic. I'm sure there are a few others that they have used the same treatment on. I've never seen Arrested Development, but I do know that every review or tidbit about the show is always positive, so I could see it as being another Fox mistake if they got too antsy once again.

Holy Feck!! There HAD to be a reason he has sucked so badly the last 2 years, now we know. That kind of damage isn't just the result of a couple starts...thats something that has built on his arm for a while unfortunately. Very good point that I have been watching all year. Marte has had very few outings where he just looked like the Damaso of the psat 2 years.

Joe Borowski, Jason Isringhausen, Rocky Biddle, Matt Herges, Matt Mantei, Curtis Leskanic. All are doin worse than Koch, and quite honestly right now there are alot of closers with good numbers in MLB. I don't have a problem with how Koch is doing at all. Lets see, you take away the 1 bad game Koch had against KC, and he is sporting a 2.30 ERA. So yeah, he has had 1 BAD game. Tell me 1 pitcher on our staff that hasnt? I'll check back for the response tonight, cause its gonna take at least that long to realize everyone on this staff has sucked at least once this year. Get off Koch's ass while he is doing his job well, Jesus. When he starts to struggle, jump all on him, I expect it from all of you anyways.

C'mon, just tell the truth: RHP Danny Wright was placed on the 15-Day DL Monday with a case of Bruised Pride. White Sox trainers say that Danny's feelings have been hurt REAL bad by the way he is pitching. Wright, who was 0-4 with a 8.15 ERA in Chicago before being demoted to Charlotte (where his is 0-2 with a 28.69 ERA), has had trouble with his right elbow before.
