Danny Wright placed on the DL

Featured Replies

Rotoworld reports:

Dan Wright's season-long slump may be injury related.

The righthander was placed on the Triple-A disabled list Saturday after an MRI revealed a problem in his pitching elbow and shoulder. Wright, who was 0-4 with a 8.15 ERA in Chicago before being demoted to Charlotte (where his is 0-2 with a 28.69 ERA), has had trouble with his right elbow before.

I'll do alittle bit of these..

i'll join you, ;o

C'mon, just tell the truth:

RHP Danny Wright was placed on the 15-Day DL Monday with a case of Bruised Pride. White Sox trainers say that Danny's feelings have been hurt REAL bad by the way he is pitching. Wright, who was 0-4 with a 8.15 ERA in Chicago before being demoted to Charlotte (where his is 0-2 with a 28.69 ERA), has had trouble with his right elbow before.

Shouldn't this be in the Futuresox board.

How about Pastsox.com?

Everyone can talk about people like Josh Fogg, Jaime Navarro, and Danny Wright.

ha yea, Danny Wright is definitly not a future sox, atleast any time within the next few years.

Wow such a shame and I was sooo hoping DW would be back to save us. ;)

he's saving us in a different way, and thats not having to watch him pitch.

Bummer. At least he's getting help for his problem unlike *cough, kough, koch, kough, cough*

i dont know why your still on Koch.. hes definatley improved this yr

This is soooooo White Sox: this should have been done in April-May 2003, maybe we would have been in the playoffs, what with 19 start winless streak and all. :puke

Too little, too late in other words.

Yes he has. He still has a way to go. I should back off the injury angle. Still losing 10% on the velocity of his fastball is a large drop.

Amazing that the Sox landed Valentin for Navarro.
