That might be true, but I would imagine he still would go, unless he's sitting somewhere else. He's the best mascot the team's ever had. They should pay him to show up.

Whatever happened to the get up guy? I go to about half the games and have only seen him once this year.

He might have been talking about the Urbina trade. They got 3 of the Marlin's top 7 prospects. They did all right for Everett, but remember they are paying 98% of his salary, and these kids are in A ball, although their futures look bright. We'll see.

The Pirates supposedly are about to put him on the DL. I'm very leery of pitchers who have always pitched for bad teams. Some turn out alright, but most never live up to their alledged ability.

Chances are, if you put Koch in, you'd have to go to White eventually.

NL pitchers, who get little batting practice and many fewer at bats get bunts down. Buerhle got a bunt down against the Flubs if I recall correctly. Miguel has to get his thought process right

He can't get a bunt down. They get bunts down in little league. I don't feel for him. He needs to do his job.

The Sox should pull a Billy Beane and work these relief pitchers ragged, then trade them for fresh blood.

This wasn't the first time Manuel screwed up and let Olivo hit. If the score was 10-0 with 2 out and a guy on second Graffinino would have hit there.

FYI Porzio's numbers were much better than that, in the same park. I don't like Porzio in the starting rotation either, but right now he's about the best option, and has kept the Sox in the game his first 2 starts.

I don't mind his attitude about it, but for him to regain the closer role, Gordon and Marte have to fail miserably.

There's a lot of teams looking for pitching, and many of those teams are looking at Suppan. Don't just think you can throw a 3rd or 4th tier prospect at Pittsburgh and they'll jump at it. His salary is not astronomical, they may just hang on to him.

If Koch gets his closer job back this year, it means Gordon and Marte can't get the job done. Watching him last night, gave me no encouragement that he could be used in anything but a blow out. He really sucks.
