I don’t think the baby mama thing did anything to him on the field. It probably damaged his legacy as he had moved to the Chicago area and was doing a lot of good community work when this came out. I just think his numerous injuries just caught up with him. He only hit 1 homer his last nearly 1000 plate appearances. With all his leg and hand issues, I just think he was done.

Davis Martin pitching should mean a victory. The only thing that concerns me is when a team explodes like the Sox did last night, the next day, offense is many times hard to come by.

Why pitch to a guy with the infield in where an out could score a run when you can pitch to a pitcher with the infield in, and if you get him, face a worse hitter with the infield at normal depth where an out gets you out of the inning?

When playing against James Harden, let the guy he's guarding go to work. No one puts less of an effort into their defensive prowess. I could light him up.
