Why pitch to a guy with the infield in where an out could score a run when you can pitch to a pitcher with the infield in, and if you get him, face a worse hitter with the infield at normal depth where an out gets you out of the inning?

When playing against James Harden, let the guy he's guarding go to work. No one puts less of an effort into their defensive prowess. I could light him up.

That's exactly right. Even though the area is safer than it's ever been. The easiest stadium for the masses to get to in the city, JR can't admit the reason people dont show up is his fault. Nope, it's the neighborhood.

Knee and arm issues, and is kind of an odd guy. The other injury risk the Sox acrually maxed the value was Crochet. He was always hurt, then miraculously was great as a starter for about half a season, while just getting through the second half. Got a haul for him, had a great year, but now hurrt again, and probably not the same moving forward, but he got $170 million.

But it's the White Sox. If they are ready to be competitive and aggressive with their offer, then fine. If they are hoping for a discount, quit fooling themselves. Trade him for a haul.
