8 to 10 times a season is fine to go to Soldier Field. The Sox season ticket base would get hammered harder than 121 loss seasons if they played 81 games there.

He actually was much better defensively than advertised. He still isn’t the hitter Schriffen makes him out to be. He did have a glorious stretch, but per usual, regression to the mean occurred.

Was Ellard injured at the end of the season? If not, surprised he retired. At the very least he probably could bounce around for a couple of years and bank a million or so.

They changed up the front office with a guy who was already there. Who according to you had nothing to do with the stink. He just sat there for years doing nothing. And he was hired so they wouldn’t waste a year. And they didn’t. They set a record for futility.
