  1. well, at least we will get to see Scott Schoenweis next inning, one run is never unconquerable with this bullpen
  2. why didn't they lay a bunt down, no confidence in BA?
  3. 2 away already, thanks cintron
  4. there we go, Cintron gets on base
  5. Today's lineup: Pods LF Iguchi 2B Thome DH Konerko 1B Dye RF AJ C Cintron SS Mack 3B Anderson CF
  6. Series Records Overall: White Sox: Game 1: 23-13 Game 2: 24-12 Game 3: 15-17 Game 4: 3-1 Blue Jays: Game 1: 19-17 Game 2: 22-14 Game 3: 12-20 Game 4: 4-2 The Blue Jays don't fare well in game 3's, at least the White Sox are close to .500 in game 3's. The Blue Jays are also 5-12 on Sundays in the past 17 games. The White Sox are 11-7 on Sundays in the past 18 games. I have a good feeling (as if it matters) that the Sox will do well, especially with Contreras out on the mound vs. the head case Burnett.
  7. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Aug 5, 2006 -> 06:50 PM) Zaun Lifetime vs Sox: .367 BA, .457 OBP, .578 SLG, 1.035 OPS with 5 HRs and 18 RBI in 109 ABs. He struggled mightily in the month of July, that is why I found it interesting that he was being so careful with him. Whatever, its a mute point now
  8. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 5, 2006 -> 06:45 PM) The way you say it, you'd think Zaun was really bad against us. Zaun always kills us. Waa waa waaaaaaaaaaaa he's a career .252 hitter, who has gone .077 in his past seven games, he shouldn't be doing well against white sox pitching
  9. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 5, 2006 -> 06:38 PM) That's really surprising. thanks for your input
  10. Burnett has really, really struggled this season, tomorrow will be fun to watch
  11. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 5, 2006 -> 06:28 PM) If he's hitting Iguchi on purpose with Thome and Konerko and Dye coming up, he is the biggest fool in MLB. sarcasm?
  12. QUOTE(brijames @ Aug 5, 2006 -> 06:05 PM) Who are the hot babes in black standing behind home plate? they are the servers for the rich people in the burgundy seats behind home plate
  13. if the walk had to come, now would be the time. Roberts and MacDonald are walking DP's
  14. excellent, Catalanatto is a tough ab, good for him
  15. QUOTE(Felix @ Aug 5, 2006 -> 05:17 PM) I thought Molina was a good defensive catcher, although I could be mixing him up with his brother in St. Louis (or whatever relation they have). Yeah I know what you mean. There has been a big uproar (as big as you can get in Toronto) regarding Molina and his playing time. He is pissed that Zaun has been taking his place a bit more, and from what I understand, it's due to Molina's defensive inadequacies behind the plate, although he is much better offensively than Zaun. edit: hey I was allowed to say pissed. sweet
  16. QUOTE(Chopper2Hopper @ Aug 5, 2006 -> 05:16 PM) Is Hawk the only one who calls Roy Halladay "Doc?" He seems to use to exclusively. I've never heard anyone else use it. Yes I understand the Tombstone reference. all the canadian networks refer to him as "doc"
  17. QUOTE(Felix @ Aug 5, 2006 -> 05:12 PM) Didn't bother him yesterday. Nice job Pods not what i meant. Molina has had difficulty throwing batters out. Zaun is bit better at it
  18. Pods working the walk Remember Molina isn't going to be throwing, Pods
  19. What I am hoping for is for Ozzie to recognize that Javier is to be on a very short lease when faces the Jays lineup for the 3rd time. If it means going to the bullpen, so be it, but don't allow him to bomb again.
