Bengie has been struggling at throwing guys out, I expect to see a few more attempts tonight

Official Game Thread 8/4 - Sox vs Jays 6:05
One good thing about this series is that the Toronto bullpen was really taxed in the New York series. If Garland can quiet Toronto, the Sox definitely have a chance to take the first game of the series. I just wonder how well Konerko's elbow is going to feel tonight Edit: just to add to this, one of the Canadian sports networks just broadcasted Ozzie's rant regarding changing the lineup if things don't change. If he can't right this ship, I really don't know who can

QUOTE(danman31 @ Jul 29, 2006 -> 05:55 PM) Blaming Dye is stupid. It's AJ's fault if anything. He ran too early assuming the throw was going home. Once AJ is in the rundown Dye has to go home because if he scores before AJ is out the run counts. Yeah but what were the chances of him getting in there? AJ is incredibly slow. Now that I saw the replay, AJ definitely blew that by overunning, Cora probably knew it was a mute point by then anyway

QUOTE(Hangar18 @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 05:33 PM) hHAHHAHAHAAHAHA. dont make me laugh. I can safely say, The way were playing, were going 2-4 vs said teams. Thats the problem. Im sure the SOX and some of their fans are thinking this right now "wait til we play Balt and KC, we'll catch up then" You'd be suprised with KC, they have been playing teams like the Jays and the Red Sox very tough in July

Well, at least take solace in the fact that Cleveland is leading Detroit 12-7, Casey Blake just hit an inside the park homerun

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 09:26 PM) Dont get cocky over the solo homer in the first. We have hit solo homers off of Johan before. It's not cockiness, it's a matter of fact. Quite a few clubs have been able to hit Santana as of late, especially Texas
