you are partially correct, chisoxfn. If you have a degree, you can either enlist or you can apply for OCS, to become an officer. I have a degree, but I enlisted. There are some advantages to enlisting in the Army, some benefits you might not get if you the officer route, that's why I chose to enlist. As for the Marines, I would tell you this. If you decide to go to college and not enlist, by your junior year of college, let them know you want to go to Marines OCS. I talked to the Marines before the Army, and they told me that currently they are looking for Juniors and Seniors in college, to get them ready when they graduate. So, if you wait until you graduate, they might not take you.

I said "F-U" to that bastard Boog, as a joke,and he got me banned. After that every time I would get on an antagonize him, and subsequently got banned everytime. I have one last name over there b/c of the Blackhawks board, but I am going to get that name booted off as well.

There is nothing sacred anymore, not even youth. I put as much blame on the parents as I do Reebok. If this father was a family member of mine, I would kick the living s*** out of him. Once again, as a society, we have hit a new low. What if this kid grows up to like football instead of basketball, or turns out to be a crappy b-ball player once he hits puberty, or loses interest in basketball alltoghether? he will be seen as a failure....He will be known as "that reebok kid" that failed life and couldn't live up to the hype. Well, I think it pretty much is a meaningless exhibition. I think that it was stupid that MLB would go and use an exhibition game as a way to establish home field advantage. You are basing wether or not you get home field off of the play of guys who are not even on your team This uniform thing is stupid as well. They should wear their own damn jerseys. I usually like to see the AL win, and I like to see Sox players do well...this is the only reason I watch. Other than that, the game is meaningless, IMHO.

it's only home field advantage for the WS, that's all...no big deal, right?
