  1. I need a win damn it...I have been sitting on 2 since the 2nd day. I will go w/Maggs.
  2. June 3rd on WGN, against the Diamondbacks, 9:35 EST.
  3. not me..i usually feel pretty good right before i stick in her butt.
  4. i go with 4-10 as well. We are facing a hot Toronto team, a 1st place LA team, not to mention a Diamondback team that has drastically improved since the beginning of the season.
  5. is Rick White still on this roster? 2 batters faced: 1HR, 1 hit batter
  6. true, Justice hasn't been all that bad, but this play-by-play announcer sucks.
  7. These ESPN announcers suck. Who the hell are these guys? Damn it....That sucks that Gary Miller had to do the Boston-NY game today...I understand why for the whole Clemens thing, not to mention to having their premier announcer cover an east coast game, but these guys are pathetic.
  8. not to forget: Mike Cameron with Seattle .272, 5 HR, 29 RBI Cal Eldred w/St. Louis 3-1 3.79 ERA 8 BB, 16 K
  9. a few more to the list: Charlie Johnson- Colorado .233 5 HR 21 RBI Greg Norton -Colorado- .176 O HR, 7 RBI Todd Richie -Milwaukee- 1-2 5.08 ERA 10 BB 15 K Jim Parque- Tampa Bay- 1-1 11.94 ERA 16 BB 8 K Dan Plesac- Philadelphia- 0-0 3.38 ERA, 3 BB 7 SO Ruben Sierra- Texas- .261 2 HR 8 RBI Chris Singleton-Oakland- .308 O HR, 16 RBI Robin Ventura-Yankees-.286 7 HR, 22 RBI David Wells- Yankees- 6-2 3.48 ERA, 3 BB 40 K
  10. a few others to mention: Ellis Burks-Cleveland- .262 6 HR, 27 RBI Sammy Sosa-on the 15 day DL .303 6 HR, 23 RBI Roberto Hernandez- Atlanta- 4-2, 4.73 ERA 19 BB, 23 SO Julio Franco-Atlanta- .274, 0 HR 11 RBI Charlie Johnson-Colorado
  11. Cleamons has over 100+ pitches here in the top of the 6th....activity in the bullpen.
  12. well, doesnt matter now...Mondesi grounded into a DP.
  13. bases loaded w/Yankmees, 1 out....score is still 5-3....Mondesi is up for NY. Roger is still in the game, if NY can take the lead, Roger will come out and pitch the 6th, get him the pitcher of record.. in the 5th he struck out the side.
  14. don't close the door on him yet. it's 5-3 in the bottom of the 5th....with 2 yankmees on, 1 out... no one warming up in the bullpen for NY.
  15. that's good. gives you time to study.
  16. yes, SS2K3, that is what i'm saying. in order for the sox to win, we must score more runs than the opponent. since a game can't end in a 0-0 tie, a team must score more runs than the opposing team in order to be victorious.
  17. I agree. If we can match the same number of runs Toronto has, but can manage to score one more then them, by the end of the ninth inning. we will win.
  18. Igot into an argument w/a d'backs fan over who is the better pitcher, Clemens or Randy Johnson. I of couse, said the Clemens, hands down. Clemens had 6 Cy Young awards, and is 30 K's away from joinging Steve Clarton and Nolan Ryan from 4,000 career strikeouts. Who do you guys think is the better of the two?

I hope Grossman will be ready to be an everydown QB in 2-3 years. Thomas, as you said 1549, is good, but definitely not an expolsive RB. Booker is decent and Terrell is good, but as we have seen, even in this offseason, his attitude is a problem. This team will be lucky if they are 8-8 at season's end.
  20. how about Paulie 'lead ass' Konerko?
  21. anyone have a score? I havent been able to get MLB game day to work.
