For me I haven’t even read anything in the media today it was just a feeling I got. It means nothing, just a familiar feeling. I have said from the start of this that I never felt like time would be on the Sox side. Time will allow for so many variables to take place that will leave the Sox out. There more this goes on the greater the chance that something happens to knock them out. They needed to be aggressive in my opinion. They are making a business decision in playing this semi conservatively, it appears. Ultimately who the heck knows what’s going on behind the scene though.

Umm so I have again convinced myself that Manny is not coming here. It just doesn’t feel right. Chicago fans have been through this before so it looks very familiar to us and it doesn’t end well.

People with yankee rumors, even when they are completely unfounded, have a huge audience of willing believers. They are so full of themselves they can’t accept that they aren’t in it and will believe anything that hints at involvement. It’s pathetic really.

Hector really has stuck with the Manny to Sox narrative the entire time.

This sounds extremely accurate and feasible. In the end he is going to go to the highest bidder. It’s going to be a huge contract. Phillies are probably willing to go higher than the Sox though so hopefully it will be for Harper and leave us with Manny.

The Yankees are not getting either. Anyone that says otherwise at this point is just pandering to the social media Yankees fans that can’t get it through their thick skulls that their team isn’t interested in superstars because of cost.
