  1. QUOTE(oz615 @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 12:29 AM) Yeah, is anyone one that doesn't drive a Chevy gonna win another race this year? Carl Edwards may do a backflip at Michigan today.
  2. QUOTE(longshot7 @ Jun 5, 2007 -> 03:39 PM) But there's some big names in Busch too, right? Some of the Nextel Cup series (formerly known as the Winston Cup) drivers, like Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Jr., for instance, own teams that compete in the Busch series races. Other drivers may compete in the Busch series race if they're at the same track (they're not always in the same town) if they wanna use it as extra practice or if they have a sponsor's commitment. BTW, congrats to Martin Truex Jr. for killing two birds with one stone: getting his first Nextel Cup series win and ending the Hendrick streak at the "Car of Tomorrow" races. I also hope NASCAR suspends Kurt Busch for the stunt he pulled the other day.
  3. QUOTE(The Critic @ May 24, 2007 -> 02:03 PM) WINNAHHHH!!!! I'm actually having some "Coca-Cola Cherry" right now! Nope, I got the winner right here:
  4. QUOTE(Soxfest @ Jun 3, 2007 -> 12:03 PM) SMNE was one of the worst EVER! The best part was Hornswoggle and Little Boogeyman lifting up Layla and Kelly .

  11. http://www.nascar.com/2007/news/headlines/...ties/index.html Damn, I wish they'd caught 24 & 48.
  12. When in the hell is someone gonna end the Hendrick dominance at the COT races???
  13. Did you see Tony Stewart salute Gilliland? He was PO'd after the wreck. I wouldn't be suprised if that was orchestrated by or on behalf of Gordon so he could get the stupid record. Stewart was coming on strong and might've been able to challenge Gordon for the checkered flag.
  14. I'm lookin' forward to Talladega this weekend... My NASCAR PTC this weekend is #17 (but then he's my PTC every race ).
  15. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Apr 24, 2007 -> 10:36 AM) Whenever a thread about radio sports guys come up I always have to add, Kevin Wheeler was the best ever, im still sad he is gone and the guy that took the overnight shift is the worse ever on 670. That's because it's syndicated. Sporting News Radio.
  16. QUOTE(juddling @ Apr 25, 2007 -> 11:45 AM) ...and for those here who care about such things...the next WWE movie production has been announced.... "The next major WWE film to be released is titled, Journey of Death. Paul Levesque (Triple H) will be portraying Jonah Hawk. The basic plot of this movie is a modern-day Western where gangs, drug trafficking and broken codes of honor rule. This action movie is scheduled for a 2009 release in the United States. The movie is written by Alan B. McElroy, and directed by John Milius. At this time there are no other cast members released." *yawn*
  17. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Apr 16, 2007 -> 12:12 PM) Hands down, the best sports talk-radio show is Boers and Bernstein. Both of those guys are so far ahead of their time it's not even funny. It's the best thing to ever happen to Chicago sports radio and for whatever reason if they were to move to some sort of satellite service (i.e. XM, Sirius), I would pay double the asking price to have them from 2-6 every working day. Brilliant. Hysterical. Informed. They absolutely are doing the show for themselves; but, if you get what they are all about, it is simply a gift. I like B & B except for when when Bernsie gets condescending. When some callers try to give a simple yes or no answer to a question, he sometimes wants them to clarify. Sometimes, when a caller tries to clarify their position, he yells "JUST ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!"
  18. Last night was not a good night for me. 24 won. The only 24s I like are the one on Monday nights on Fox and the one manning the hot corner for the Sox.
  19. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 04:07 PM) "It was reported several days ago that Orton recently got sent home on their tour over seas. For what is understood, Randy Orton was found passed out in a trashed hotel room that totaled to around 30 grand in damages." I'm going against the wrestling community here when I say I think he will get released before week's end. I agree. This isn't the first time Orton has been disciplined by the WWE. I think their patience is wearing thin with him.
  20. QUOTE(juddling @ Apr 7, 2007 -> 01:42 AM) Just an odd wrestling note....former WCW/WWE tag team champ and MMA fighter Sean O'Haire got his butt kicked outside a bar the other night.........sound pretty bad butt-kicking Oh, so in other words, it was just like he was back in WCW & WWE . That guy was atrocious in the ring.

  23. QUOTE(Soxfest @ Mar 21, 2007 -> 02:05 PM) Mr.Kennedy..............................................Kennedy.......next breakout star! Kennedy has to learn to work a match rather than just being all offense all the time. There's now doubt he's got the mic skills though.
