Yeah, the pitching has been making me nervous as of late. It seems that either the starters are on or the relief is on, but they can't seem to both be on for the same game. Hopefully they are just shaking off some rust...

For the short term disability (6 weeks or less) where I am, the company pays a portion and the insurance company picks up the rest. What that portion is, I haven't a clue.

I figured, but if you guys had better benefits I know where I was going to apply! lol!

Ringside Boxing Analyst: "Sure there have been injuries and even some deaths in boxing - but none of them really that serious." 6. Baseball announcer: "If history repeats itself, I should think we can expect the same thing again." 7. Basketball analyst: "He dribbles a lot and the opposition doesn't like it. In fact you can see it all over their faces." 8. At a trophy ceremony BBC TV Boat Race 1988: "Ah, isn't that nice, the wife of the Cambridge president is hugging the cox of the Oxford crew." 9. Metro Radio, College Football: "Julian Dicks is everywhere. It's like they've got eleven Dicks on the field." 10. I didn't even waste my energy when I saw the title. The worst part was the radio (97.9 to be exact). The Sox sweep and Wolf barely mentions that the Sox win yesterday and never mentioned it was a sweep but yet talked twice the amount of time about the Cubs winning two in a row. I pretty much avoid Moronotti's columns as much as I can.

From what I was told, it's not the company that pays you, it's the insurance that you've paid into that pays you for disability (long term anyway). In any sense, I am sick to death of players whining about their millions not being enough. Let them support a kid on 25K (while working 8+ hrs a day) and then tell me about unfair and not enough.
