  1. Yeah agreed. Like him so much more at Appalachian State, mid December obscure bowl games and with Robbie Hummel.
  2. It's almost like we don't have access to Fangraphs and the waiver wire in the Sox front office. Or the back of his baseball card.
  3. It would be pretty telling to bring back that original TLR signing thread and revisit those 25-30% of posters that attempted to be as positive as possible. Of course, the whole DUI situation quickly became the dominant narrative for weeks. That said, not any better to be proven right for being naturally skeptical of any major White Sox decision.
  4. Well he's not quite trusted in save situations just tie games. But thanks Rick Hahn for Kelly. We will get him at least one month too late to make much of a difference.
  5. The Angels are poised to sweep the Indians and then White Sox. Better hope the Twins are derailed in Tampa... But the Cubs and Red Sox on the crowd won't be pretty either.
  6. With pickleball's emergence now, maybe the Sox would be better off playing Wiffle Ball instead?
  7. Why not just give Leury a lifetime deal where he can fill in the salary each year depending on how much he believes he deserves? Kind of like Andre Dawson back in the day with the Cubs.
  8. I left out going to five and dime to collect baseball cards and Strat O Matic. Leury with two more years added to his extension.
  9. IVF. Please have baby with a better throwing arm who can play second and hits lefty.
  10. I honestly think the 1985-89 White Sox with Guillen Calderon KW Eddie Williams and Carlos Martinez were a lot more fun.
  11. Might as well think that the country is capable of the same recapturing of past glories. Times have completely changed. They also might want to reflect back on a time when kids brought transistor radios to school to listen to, skipped or even cancelled school for daytime WS games, played stick ball in the streets, read the newspaper for box scores every morning, etc.
  12. Well the Twins proved you don't have to destroy the payroll ($135ish million) to completely change the narrative around a team in one quite productive offseason. Well, it really started with jettisoning Donaldson Cruz and Berrios.
  13. Well he better do something about Oakland, Cincy, Pittsburgh and might as well merge the Florida teams while they're at it lol.
  14. After this weekend, easy to imagine Twins becoming official favorites in the division. Have much deeper starting pitching and Buxton/Correa. Only questions are health and the bullpen.
  15. No no no. Even Manfred isn't that dumb to deliberately sabotage the sport. Speeding it up like THIS is going to cause every teenager to give up on the sport.
  16. Last year with Goodwin Hamilton and the rest we had two 4X100 teams along with Leury Engel Anderson Robert Moncada. Albeit oft injured sprint teams...
  17. The only consolation about Friday is we're not playing the Angels IN Anaheim...which would inevitably mean 2-3 more dramatic bullpen losses. Except not so heartbreaking as last year.
  18. Or the true talent will never be on the field together...and those on the field together will inevitably be playing out of position.
  19. That would give the Sox more injury excuses for not admitting the emperor has no clothes.
  20. Another week or two of this team looking so out of sorts and things are going to get very uncomfortable for the front office carrying so much water for TLR. Nice camera work lol.
  21. So much for carrying over something from yesterday...the Angels are poised to absolutely destroy the Sox this weekend at this rate.
  22. It's overbalanced towards too much pitching if you consider how tough the relievers from the fifth inning usually are except for Cincy.
