Cooper's energy getting out to the mound for Humber is about the same energy we've had this entire game. Flat from the get-go, and Humber pitching scared for the first time in ages. Doesn't help not to be able to throw many runners out on the basepaths.

The one thing that bothers me is how much our home field advantage has disappeared from 2008. We actually play better on the road, especially with nobody to boo Dunn and soon Rios. KC horrible road team? Boom. 2/3. Minnesota struggling on the road? No worries. 23 pitches in the first inning is way too many for Phil. At least it's ONLY one run. Of course, we've said that before this season.

Cue "audience laughing uproariously" background soundtrack for this tired sitcom. Of course, the Twins have lost 5 in a row on the road. Throw that out.
