  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 5, 2009 -> 02:05 PM) I'm having a hard time getting the care up for the Bulls this year. I'm the opposite, I've been looking forward to the Bulls since August. The Bears don't do a whole lot for me and I couldn't care less about the Blackhawks.
  2. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Sep 28, 2009 -> 09:08 AM) I haven't watched it yet, but Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down on FlashForward? I say thumbs up. It was a bit cheesy but I really am interested in where it's going.
  3. I may be the only one, but I say look for a nice year from Linebrink next season.
  4. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Sep 25, 2009 -> 05:14 PM) Jevan Sneed just seems overmatched out there. I'd say he's barely a first round prospect. Dexter McCluster, on the other hand, is a f***ing stud. I'm shocked that I don't see him going in the first 3 rounds of a mock draft I read that gets updated on a weekly basis. I'm trying to figure out how someone becomes a first round prospect if they are overmatched. I've never even heard of him though so I'm not saying you're wrong.
  5. Twins. Really hate everything about the Tigers. Only hate most things about the twins.
  6. 118 of us out there. 34th most popular first name. 1040th most popular last name.
  7. QUOTE (NIUSox @ Sep 22, 2009 -> 11:48 PM) HowManyOfMe.com There are people with the name Jesus Christ in the U.S.A. How many have your name? I'm one of the six!
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 22, 2009 -> 11:51 PM) I'm not sure what "here" means. He started the thread by saying he just moved to St. Louis. I was confused until I decided to look if he started the thread.
  9. Yeah the heat doesn't bother me too much. The thing I love about St. Louis is how early in the year it gets warm there.
  10. Big Bang Theory was awesome again tonight. I think it has become my favorite comedy.
  11. QUOTE (farmteam @ Sep 21, 2009 -> 08:56 PM) How right you are. I've only been there a few times (I go to IU, so it's about an hour away), but every time I have...ew. The downtown area is like a block long, and the circle center is cool, but that's about it. I will say that Conseco Fieldhouse is pretty awesome, though. As for St. Louis, it had some cool things about them, but the awful weather is enough to keep me away from there. Minneapolis>>>>St. Louis I like that you say awful weather keeps you away from St. Louis yet you like Minneapolis. Our ideas of awful weather are very different.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 21, 2009 -> 01:53 PM) I'm with you FWIW. I don't find it very funny, especially Tracy Morgan. He is terrible. Tracy Morgan makes that show. He's a comic genius in my eyes.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 20, 2009 -> 07:12 PM) [puts on blocked poster list] LOL, you're probably right, I should be blocked. Not above chicago, but it's different and many aspects that I do enjoy more than Chicago.
  14. QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Sep 20, 2009 -> 01:33 PM) Just like Tyler Perry> Always Sunny....right... Chicago is too big and such a hassle.
  15. St. Louis is one of my favorite cities. I'm sure you will have fun there. I rank it above Chicago personally.
  16. QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Sep 19, 2009 -> 11:32 AM) No. I can't stand "House of Payne", the comedy comes across as too forced. It's also embarrassing for me to watch because I can tell they're trying to be funny. I hate sitcoms like that, I like sitcoms where the humor comes across naturally, like "It's always Sunny in Philadelphia", "Testees", "the Bernie Mac Show", "Office", etc etc. House of Payne is funnier than Always sunny and Testees.
  17. House of Payne is way funnier than it gets credit for. There I said it.

    Films Thread

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 18, 2009 -> 03:54 PM) well whatever find new friends. i just love polar movies. Really bad ones and really good ones. Have no time for wishy washy crap. There's no part of me that regrets seeing the happening. That was by far the worst movie i've ever seen. And because of that, was way better than most. If you like bad. Go see Gamer. It was a classic.
  19. QUOTE (kapkomet @ Sep 15, 2009 -> 12:27 PM) You pretty much have to have 4GB minimum to effectively run vista, and that's a pretty big issue for a lot of the computer population. Could be why I've actually liked Vista. I've never run it on anything less than 4GB.
  20. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Sep 15, 2009 -> 01:39 AM) My mother (and her co-workers) met Dwayne Wade yesterday. Pretty cool. And you still misspelled his name. Or maybe his parents did. Dwyane.
  21. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 14, 2009 -> 04:44 PM) I can totally see why everyone hated Vista. Wow. I actually really liked Vista. Preferred it to XP. I'm onto 7 now though and it's pretty fantastic.
  22. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Sep 14, 2009 -> 09:17 AM) I didn't come here to stick up for him, but just to say I'm still laughing over it. I think I'm laughing more about how "pissed" fans are, he'll apologize & everyone will love him again. I'm with you, people seem really upset about this. It was the VMA's. Who cares. It was probably staged anyways.
  23. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 11, 2009 -> 08:31 PM) They'll be vacations handed out if it continues. Just a hint, but I've never been to Hawaii if thats where you like to send me.
  24. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 11, 2009 -> 07:00 PM) Krush, You know better than that... its only begun knight. wait until the redbirds start 10-0 or something in basketball. i don't even care about football but I sure do hate Ill-annoy. also, in 2006 ISU was 10-3 in football and lost by one point at a 7 win kansas state team that knocked off texas that year. Illinois on the other hand had 2 wins. We had the best player in the state in Laurent Robinson and I really believe would have beat fratboy U that year.
