Swish can't get the bunt down. Hopefully he gets the job done via a hit.

BA with an infield single. I'd like to see him run here.

QUOTE (joeynach @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 04:13 PM) Ozzie please let Javy pitch the 8th. Hes only got 89 pitchers. Answers my question.

QUOTE (DonnyDevito @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 04:12 PM) Turn this one over to Linebrin and the Jenks. I'd stick with Javy for at least the 8th. I'm not sure where the pitch count is right now though.

Crede flies out to right. At least we got the 1, hopefully Javy can continue his dominance.

Swish with a walk. Let's see if OC can get the job done here and at least avoid a double play...

8/25 Gm. 1 - SOX vs./@ BAL, 5:05 CT, CSN
Javy has had everything working thus far, his pitches are all moving and he seems to have a good feel for them. We need to get some more runs to not waste this kind of effort.

QUOTE (Cowch @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 04:33 PM) Nice play OCab. Get this last guy. If the Sox load the bases for Alexei again, atleast there can't be two outs. Then his grounder to short becomes a DP.

Sox batting average
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 07:07 AM) OBP is great, but its hard to walk in runs. Agreed. I love OBP but I do prefer some hitting in there from time to time. Our Average with RISP right now is good, but I don't know how it can stay so much better than the team average for the rest of the year. Either the overall AVG is going to go up, or the BARISP is going to go down the way I see it.
