QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 05:38 AM) Well if it isnt pull-able, then he wouldnt be pulling it, now would he? The way he's looked this year subtracting yesterday, he would give it his best shot.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 27, 2008 -> 10:07 PM) Bills signed Luke Drone from Illinois State I heard some talk of him possibly being drafted/signed. Personally, I don't get it. I've watched him during his college career, he really doesn't have that good of an arm, is pretty accurate, but sometimes makes some bad decisions. The reason that he dropped off so much from his SO/JR years to his SR season is due to Laurent Robinson(WR-ATL) leaving, who in 1AA football only needed the ball in his general vicinity to make the catch. -
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 02:39 AM) Konerko's a dead pull hitter. I want him pulling everything. That's where his power is. Maybe my memory is failing me, but I think I remember a time when he used to go the other way. He will definitely hit most of his homers to left, but I think getting in the mindset of hitting to center and right center can't hurt. Hopefully this discussion doesn't matter and he goes on a tear hitting to all fields or just pulling it with authority.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 02:20 AM) So he hit 2 HR today and drew a walk. He looked much more comfortable at the player and is definitely seeing the ball better and taking some good hacks. We could be very dangerous if Konerko gets hot right here... Today was nice, hopefully he keeps seeing the ball like he did today, but I still would like to see him go with the pitch more instead of pulling everything. We all know he can hammer fastballs.

Great Job on this. I just looked at the Talkcubs site and am very glad our colors are black, white and gray, our forum just looks nicer. Not a cubs bashing at all.

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Apr 24, 2008 -> 11:20 PM) I'm not sure if this is anti either one, or pro either one, but thought it was kinda funny. Maybe you all could use a laugh. All 3 of you. (some NSFW language) hahaha. That was a good video. f*** it. McCain.

Things getting worse for Roger Clemens

I hope this is true only because I hate to believe people would just make this kind of stuff up. -

I was hoping for CQ as well. Or BA.

Can't wait. Any hints on who will be featured?

The Giants just have all kinds of troubles.

QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Apr 25, 2008 -> 04:40 PM) Joe Dirt wasn't bad either... I love Joe Dirt, of the list I made after this started, I snuck it into my top 20. I thought I was the only one that really liked Joe Dirt.

Great Win. Jose with another good outing!

Thome’s in the 500 Club, but Maybe Not in THE Club

If he gets to 600 it is a no doubter, but until then I think there will still be debate on it. -
I'm surprised that The Jerk didn't get onto this list. Was in my top 20, but I made mine after this list was started.

QUOTE (Texsox @ Apr 25, 2008 -> 03:05 PM) If their liquor license works like a store, restaurant, bar, etc. they could have it suspended or revoked. No big deal. IIRC some team did have it yanked for a game a few years back. Good point, I think if you are underage and want to tailgate/drink, it is a risk you run. It's still breaking the law and it is their job to stop people who are breaking the law. I'm not saying I hadn't done it before I was 21, but I was well aware of the risk I was taking and wouldn't blame the security guards for doing their job. If I understand it correctly, the White Sox own the parking lot, so they may be in trouble for allowing underage drinking.

That study just seems like a waste of time and money to me, I'm not so shocked by the results, it seems like they made them press a button repeatedly instead of making them do a simple task once a day or so. I'm pretty sure every brain is gonna relax if all you're doing is pressing a button. But, I have to get one of those brain fart caps. Maybe they'll make a Sox one.

You got another Hillary supporter in me.

QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Apr 23, 2008 -> 08:52 PM) I just made a team. If anyone wants in, let me know. I might want in on your team once my contract is up, I think I've got one season left on it.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 24, 2008 -> 04:50 AM) There's nothing wrong with saying the pledge in another language, but I don't agree with forcing students to say it and grading them on it. Yeah, I thought it was strange that the teacher was grading them on saying the pledge. If you don't want to say the pledge it should be a personal decision that should not hurt your grade.

QUOTE (BearSox @ Apr 23, 2008 -> 10:05 PM) In spanish class, there is nothing wrong with it... but if it is at some random event that turns out to be in a Hispanic neighborhood, and they say the pledge in Spanish, then I have a problem with it. I am one of the people who believe English should be the official language. I'll be the first one to say that I don't think America should have an official language. Hopefully I'm not alone here, Plus, I really don't have a problem saying the pledge in spanish even if you were not in spanish class. At least you are Pledging your Allegiance to this country in some language.
