  1. Sounds like it's really going our way so far. Let's end this streak!
  2. U'z Got It. I don't. Might be a blessing in disguise though
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 5, 2008 -> 12:59 PM) New commercial nomination. 1 877 Kars for Kids K A R S Kars for Kiids 1 877 Kars for Kids Donate your car today... I hate that jingle. Any time I hear that one it's in my head all day....
  4. QUOTE (knightni @ May 4, 2008 -> 07:22 PM) They do it during Broadway productions. What's the difference? The crowd going to Broadway productions is pretty different than your average Saturday night movie crowd.
  5. QUOTE (BearSox @ May 4, 2008 -> 07:06 PM) Oh, I'm not complaining. I'm just saying it's a little far out there to say he's played outstanding D. He definitely has not played outstanding D. I would rate it about average for CF'ers and have really been pleasantly surprised with him in center.
  6. QUOTE (BearSox @ May 4, 2008 -> 07:30 PM) I wouldn't say Swisher's played outstanding D in center, but he hasn't f***ed up either. Pretty mediocre out there if you ask me. Id say Swishers D is definitely not tops on my lists of complaints about this team. It's actually probably somewhere around the 100th biggest issue. This team is depressing me.

    i am drunk

I went to J Bucks restaurant(Joe Bucks). First beer they gave me was on the house because it was the end of the keg. Second one was on the house because we were sox fans and they wanted us to move to the other side of the bar so cubs fans could have that side. Third one we paid for. A nice 3 for 1 deal when we were only stopping in for one beer.
  8. I've had a mohawk for about two months now. Definately the weirdest. Even though I had Neal Cotts type hair this time last year.
  9. The best commercial is the Most Interesting Man in the World.
  10. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 3, 2008 -> 08:50 AM) This reminds me... having had many similar experiences, I always thought that if I had the capital to invest, I had a great idea for a theater experience. You build a more or less normal theatre, but the entrance has a very small bar. You can only enter if you are 21, period. You only have a very narrow selection of beers, and few seats, and you don't allow the booze into the theatre. You then also have an usher who actually stays IN the theatre for each movie, and actually tells people to be quiet if necessary (and asks them to leave, also, if necessary). You also make the warnings much more pronounced that if you start talking or annoying people or using your damn phone, you will be asked to leave (and then actually follow through). The overage you make on the booze sales could help with the extra usher costs, or you even add a dollar or two to the movie price. What do you get? A theater with adults in it, no kids, and a respectful audience. All for a dollar or two more per person. I would gladly pay that difference for the experience. You could also do this as only part of the theatre - these X number of screens are on the other side of the bar, the rest can be normal screens for families, teenagers, etc. The new theater that is opening here in Normal actually applied for a liquor license. They planned on selling beer for movie goers. It narrowly got defeated however.
  11. I'd say about 70% of people on boats are generally drunk boating, it's funny he got pepper sprayed and dragged to shore though.
  12. QUOTE (The Critic @ May 2, 2008 -> 06:00 PM) Office party + drunk dummy + boss right behind her = funny! http://youtube.com/watch?v=ISg3P6AnLhQ Good video, I can't decide if it's real or not.
  13. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 2, 2008 -> 10:12 PM) So Skip's the man Yep, We share a last name except I spell it correctly.
  14. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 2, 2008 -> 11:22 AM) I thought last night he was perfect. I really wish we could have really seen a lot with Dwight and Andy and the SUV. Dwight's negotiation tactics were absolutely hilarious. Do IT! 5..4..3..2..1..5...4..3..2...1

  19. QUOTE (watchtower41 @ Apr 29, 2008 -> 01:03 PM) Speaking of the Twinkies, I'd like to get some real impressions from people who have taken the trip to the Metrodome in the past. This stadium won't be around for long, and even though most fans bash the place as the biggest s***hole in MLB, I'd really like to take the initiative to make the roadtrip up there for a 3 game series against the Sox. For those who have been, would you reccomend it?? I've been to the metrodome, it is definitely not the nicest stadium in the league. However, twins fans are probably the best fans fans I have met in a visiting park. Very welcoming and knowledgeable. Nothing like the Cleveland fans. It's a pretty cool place to see a game though.
  20. QUOTE (WCSox @ Apr 29, 2008 -> 05:19 PM) I'd rather that they just called it a tie. The MLB season is already way too long. Why add a 163rd game and put more wear and tear on these guys? I thought that they would just suspend this game until the end of the year to see if it mattered to the standings or not. I know they've done it before and I assumed this would be a good situation for that.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 29, 2008 -> 06:08 PM) My 360 version works. It looks glorious. When you are driving on the streets, it pretty much looks real. I need to get a 360, my gamecube isn't cutting it anymore.
  22. QUOTE (Wanne @ Apr 29, 2008 -> 04:28 PM) God I HATE WCIU!!!!!!!!!!!!! agreed. This is already the 4th game on WCIU this year. I don't know why but it seems like there has been a lot more of WCIU already this year than usual.
  23. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 10:14 PM) Actually, in most cities, homeless people can list a shelter as their address for voting purposes and to receive mail. Assuming they are not one of the crazy-homeless who refuse to go to shelters, or that there are shelters where they happen to be. Yeah, I actually did know that, it just kind popped in my head while I was posting. Thanks for the info.
