Wednesday is my busy day (class 11, 12, 1, 2) and I was also helping out with an event sponsored by PRIDE so I only recently got back to my room, haha. What I saw on TV seemed to be one side of the event. I've read plenty of news reports from the Guardian etc. that have shown many Iraqis angry at the US for civilian slaughter, bombing mistakes etc. What is on TV is only one side and there are 2 sides to every story, no matter how much the pro-Bush media wants to spin it. But then again, what would I know, I'm just a French/German/Russian anti-war hippie loving commie. apu..you suffer from whats called the "flat world" syndrome...in the face of overwhelming facts that prove you were wrong on just about everything you posted on this war ( the iraqi people didnt want us there , the war plan was going horribly wrong , the war was illegal , the war would take years with 5 million dead iraqi children ,ect ect ect) , you still refuse to accept the truth..thousands of iraqis are taking to the streets in every city....in iraqi and in every country that iraqis are living in exile...look at the parade in deerborn michigan...one iraqi went and changed his name to george bush...but there you sit...spining away..no no no , thats not the truth....when its right in front of your eyes...the world is still flat isnt it apu??

i beg to differ....he is hanging everything..even if he had a wide strike zone he still couldnt put the ball there....he looks horrible..plus you gotta adjust your game to the ump...garland hasnt been able to do that im not giving up on garland...i kinda expected him to go backwards this year..he is young and i still believe he canvery good someday...but it might require another stint or two in the minors before he puts it all together

Lee is flying open. What is going on with Garland. How does his stuff look? Is he mixing speeds or is pretty much everything hitting the heart of the plate. Last year I thought Garland was nothing (Baggs and I were about the only ones to agree) and then this year I thought he had turned the corner. Only two starts though and he still has a long way to go so he can redeem himself in this one. yup..hurry up danny wright
