-
itsalways amazed me how anderson stays i nthe league..he has nothing..wish i was a lefty
-
it means there is great value hitting ahead of thomas - ordonez and konerko for a dead red fastball hitter
-
me??...nope..not really
-
anderson is one of these guys thats so frigggen terrible he will give up 13 hits and 1 run..unbelievably lucky
-

foxnews got an exclusive with al -dori..there reporter just happend to be outside his residence when he came out a 2nd time..he used the words..the war is over....ive had no contact with saddam or iraq...i wish the best for the iraqi people and hope we can live in peace check their website

will this team even win 30 games this year??...hell , will it win one???

that is a very false presumption of facts. To do so in this country would be unconstitutional unless a crime had been committed. The arrest of that dude in minnesota should have been a huge tip off but it wasn't followed up - however, all of the plotters of the first WTC bombing were arrested, prosecuted, and convicted very properly. The very point of the the anti-terror initiative that Rice and the Bush administration ignored was to take action against al queda. And under the Clinton administration moves were made against al queda. They have been discussed here before and I am not going to go over old ground for a cheap shot. If you think the only way to deal with anything is to wage war, well, that is your problem. yeah, thats my answer to everthing..war

right now there is a prety big celebration going on in deerborn mich, where a very large contingent of iraqis who fled iraq under saddam live...big impromtu parade..one of the chants were "france and germany can say what they want , iraq is free today" no signs of looting in ndearborn though
-
and what would you have said , cw and windoji , if president bush took"preemptive" action against al-qaeda and the taliban in afghanastan??..or against the terrorists that were in this country at the time???...im sure you would have been all for it

pretty emotional day in baghdad isnt it... for those who dont know...in the arab world it is a huge insult to show someone the bottom of your shoe..and its even worse to put it in someone's face..that's the significance of the iraqi people takingtheir shoes off and rubbing them over the statues and pictures of saddam..its the ultimate insult i 2nd that..god bless our troops...also god bless those in power that remained strong in the face of wrongful opposition so that this effort was carried out quickly and as safely as possible..most of all..god bless all those , from every country who suffered under the evil of saddam...

this team is 3, 4 years away ...might as well draft the best QB and live with him till he develops..or in 3 or 4 we will still be 3 or 4 years away
-
And would it not be fitting for KC to lose to the team they have occupied the basement with for the past few years as their constant chum. I wouldn't mind the Tigers winning if it would wipe the smile of Joe Randa's face...wait never mind, that is not possible. remember in the batman movie, the recent one with george clooney i think it was......randa looks just like the joker from that flick

FYI - Carlos will be 27 in June (he was born in a great year - 1976!!!! ). carlos is making 4.2 million im guessing his agent will ask about 6 million for him next year..maybe we cut him loose and use that saving to resign colon???
-
i did some research on eyre...he has been lights out with frisco..last year in 21 games a 1.79 era and was 6 for 6 in holds....this year in 4 games he has yet to give up a run and is 2 for 2 holds now (got one last night i guess) and also has a save...he is now sharing the closer role with tim worrell until nen gets back from the dl.... im really glad for eyre...he has a real bad case of ADD and it wasnt picked up on until he got to toronto...they got him on meds there and his performance improved alot ...now in san fran it looks like he has really found a home..great story
-
his injury wasnt anything career threatening...if he impressed in the work outs then we really got to get him...oh for a real QB...just one before i die...is that too much to ask???
-

-
