your right..clayton wouldnt have made that error valentin made..lets look at the situation....1st and 3rd..two outs...ground ball in the hole...valentin makes a great to get to the ball and jumps and spins to try and get the guy at 2nd..if he makes it , its a spectacular play and the run doesnt score...if he puts the ball in his pocket (like that selfish s***head clayton would have done since he would do anything to avoid an error - thats if he even got to the ball) the run still scores..the error was because the runners advanced from 1st and 2nd to 2nd and 3rd...garland got the next guy (which he would have had to face anyways because there was no play at first base for valentin) so no damage done valentin tried to make a great play to save jon garland an earned run...so how is that screwing with his pitchers mind?? if you dont like valentin thats fine..but he had 2 homers and triple today and your screwing with him...i hate carlos lee..but even i know to shut the f*** up on a day he would hit two homers and a triple (like that will ever happen)

foxnews has made no bones about the fact they were pulling for america in this war..they came right out and said it...they were honest...how many journalists at cnn and msnbc are also pulling for the usa to win???...less peter arnett of course but if you watch all three they all broke the same stories , good or bad(what little there was) , when they happened..the difference comes in downtime...in the networks experts opinion of whats going on....cnn has a guy that says..ohh we are pinned down here and cant move...while fox might call it a small squirmish...also cnn might run a piece on how iraqis demonstrate against the US while fox shows some iraqi kicking the crap out of a picture of saddam... but the facts are foxnews called this war right...they said all along this was going as planned..all their experts called it perfect...cnn had guys on there saying it will be a year till we get to baghdad ...one guy even suggested if things got bad enough we would resort to using nukes as far as msnbc...god their coverage suck..boring..and they seemed to always be the last of the three to get breaking stories..

cw....whether he is passive or firey doesnt matter to me...both styles win and both styles lose..i dont blame today's loss on manuel...the players gave this one away...but manuel played a part in the first two losses with very questionable moves.. manuel hasnt motivated this team for two years now...they have underachieved both years...talent wise this team is the best he has ever had...if we get off to a slow start he has to be replaced before the season is lost.. how many times do teams respond to a manager change???..it comes as a wakeup call top the players...if we start out like 5-10 this year that might be exactly what the team needs. i would have fired manuel last year when we white flagged the season...so if we fire him today id have no problem with it

what a minute..valentin's error came on a play with runners on the corners and two outs..he went way into the outfield grass towards third base and tried to make an off balance spinning throw to get the runner at 2nd..if he makes the play he saves a run...if he puts that ball in his pocket (like royce clayton would have) the runner on 3rd scores anyways...jose was trying to make a spectacular play to save a run...you cant blame him for that..runners moved up to 2nd and 3rd but didnt score.. jose has two homers and a triple...cant blame him for anything
