You have to make pitchers get the ball up, it's hard to hit linedrives when they're low low strikes, unless you alter your swing 2 outs, so frustrating

i love you gavin floyd season isn't over, i'm wrong once again

regardless of the outcome of this inning i'm glad to have gavin floyd on our team, he's gonna be great IMO

let's nibble and fall behind every batter grow a pair and throw strikes, you have to throw strikes or they wont f***ing swing this team makes me nauseated

Thome and Swisher on 3-2 counts are a waste of spot in the lineup

just keep the damage to a minimum, that's all we can ask for at this point our hitters need to be smarter, though their low baseball IQ when it comes to hitting is, as they've shown all year, almost hilarious lets try to hit a homerun every at-bat, yeah that's an intelligent approach

no hitter gone tigers gonna have some confidence now

i'm not confident about this game, not one bit

unless our hitters smarten up and start trying to string hits together, this is going to be probably the most stressful game of the year for us
