IMO, the Ripken streak is overrated. Playing staright games really doesn't guarentee that you help your team much. Actualy, here and there, I'd like to give players off days to stay fresh.

Hasegawa is making almost 3 mil this year with a 5.40 ERA. That being said, he might be able to turn it around here. Not sure if there are any better options on the market, but I bet Hasegawa would be better than Mike Jackson. BTW, Sullivan was pretty good for us last year.

If maggs leaves, then I think a lot of people will finally realize how much it has taken foe Frank to stay here over all these years, and they should probably have a lot more respect for him. I won't know what to think of Maggs if he keeps turning down our offers and signs elsewhere, but I know Frank has been on the Sox his entire Carer, and its looking more and more like he might retire here-- something amazing these days.

Actually, I was in the upper deck at a Braves game and they had staff in the upper deck throw shirts to those up there, and I got one actually. They threw out a good number too, I'd say.
