  1. Remember what the 3 off days did to us? AKA, the All Star Break.
  2. *sigh* E-Lo is a horrid nickname for Esteban. It resembles Jennifer Lopez far too much, and I despise her. Lights Out Loaiza is good though.
  3. Ahh I remember that one now... yeah.. who did they think White Sox fans would vote for?
  4. No, I'm not asking you this, this is FSN Chicago's poll thingy that's going on. I think it's pretty lame, there's really no point.
  5. Tony's throw was hilarious, and they seemed to be smiling when Miguel kind of crept up behind the batter when he dropped strike 3. Nice way to end the homestand, and a nice way to go into KC. :fthecubs <---Royals..not Cubs.
  6. Hawk and DJ were talking about Joe taking a lot of first pitch strikes, and how his best pitches to hit come in the first two pitches mostly. Sounds like Joe needs to pull the trigger on the first pitch.
  7. 2-1, nice hustling Aaron.
  8. At least he's throwing fastballs, and no offspeed stuff. I have a feeling Baldelli won't get much more off him.
  9. Yes, I know the Rays didn't sweep us, I posted later in the thread saying that. I don't believe in jinxing, sorry. I could go on some huge religious type rant about it, but I'm not. Sorry if you do, that's your problem.
  10. Heh, I got some hair I'd like to keep as well. I pride myself in my 6 inch hair. And CubsSuck, I agree with that picture wholeheartedly. That horn blower sucks.
  11. The D-Rays didn't sweep us the first time and we had momentum going into Tampa Bay after sweeping Minnesota and we still lost 2 out of 3. That's why the games are played on the field..... not on paper. Take 1 game at a time. Ah my bad, the Rays and Tigers are too similar to me.
  12. That's 7 in a row. We have to launch the Devil Rays. Edit: Into Space.
  13. AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!!!!! Phew, close call.
  14. Ricky, get Delgado out!!
  15. Two down, White has been great lately. Solo shot doesn't kill us either.
  16. Even though we used Marte and Gordon to the fullest extent tonight, we really don't have to worry. We have the Devil Rays coming to town, and how many of you actually think the Rays would sweep us AGAIN? In our own stadium. I sure don't. Especially since we're picking up more and more momentum, it just keeps adding up with excellent wins. Bottom line, we'll have Gordon and Marte fit and ready for KC and Seattle. Rick White can take care of the Rays, and if need be, we'll use a different reliever, Koch, perhaps, this could be another attempt to get himself together, if we score enough runs, fine, put Koch in, he couldn't possibly blow a 8-2 lead, or something like that. Edit: I didn't realize I pretty much assumed the Sox won tonight, it isn't over yet, but with White in I think we'll do fine.
  17. What the hell happened to Jose being a home run threat every time at the plate? That didn't last long...
  18. I so agree, that horn sucks so bad. Most annoying thing ever, more annoying than that drunk fan that always yells at Cub games, because he only goes on for like one inning, that horn was like being passed around the stadium for people to blow. Magglio has a headache...
  19. It was a 3-2 running situation, so it's pretty normal. I just thought "There goes Frank" was funny.
  20. 4-2 Not even Koch can f*** this one up.
  21. "There goes Frank" You don't hear that every day.
