I didn't say anime was for more informed people. I said that anime stimulates the brain far more than most American cartoons. I know plenty of people who watch South Park, that also have good grades, but none of them ever say they watch it because of the intelligence(which, I don't believe can say is existent), they love all the nasty storylines, cursing, and pure vulgarity of it.

wtf have you ever even watched south park? that is some of the best satire on television. just because you're all about japanimation doesn't mean american stuff is crap. Watching an episode about this Timmy character watching his dad in some gay house, and his mom killing him, well, it was quite lame. You should be happy that a 15 year old watches something that stimulates the brain, rather than feeding to the 'sit in front of the tv and drool while some elementary students cuss their brains out' part of people. It's nto funny or entertaining.

I can't stand Anime because it isn't funny. If it was funny I would like it, but I don't watch cartoons to see fighting sequences. Much like why I can't stand American cartoons because there's no good plot. If it is comical, it really does not need a grippin plot, if just needs to be funny. At that point in time it's almost like mindless dribble. It gets old, but that's just my opinion. Something like the Simpsons I can watch one episode that I haven't seen before, but if they play it again, I can't watch it again and be interested. South Park is just retarded, IMO. That's like the epitome of mindless garbage.
