  1. Yes, tonights game should be all kids. Timo is clutch and all, but the kids need to play. Not to mention most of our normal hitters hit Lackey like s***. I'd start Gload over PK too. I wish I was manager for the rest of the season.
  2. Dude, Knuckle. You're no spammer. Besides, messages on a giant message board like this, none should be considered spam. When the top posters have over 10,000 posts, well, there's no real way you can spam to the top. Spam is basically posting a lot and unintelligently to get to the top. Here, it's impossible. Anyone who gives a rats ass about something as lame as post counts should have their brain checked. Post count isn't superiority.
  3. No problemo Little Man.
  4. Taking money from the Cubs is like taking money from the devil.
  5. Hendry ALWAYS acquires those players that people know about that they also don't think much of... Let's see. Last Year: Glanville, Womack, Lofton, Simon, Goodwin This Year: Hollandsworth, NEIFI PEREZ??, Dempster, Rusch, Merker. What is his love affair???
  6. Shut up you worthless spammer. Like I said Ace, no knock towards you.
  7. This, however breaks the new rule. What's the punishment, a slap on the wrist?
  8. That would just be contradictory to the new rules. Knuckle, don't leave. You only have what? 2,000 posts? Dear Lord... that's like nothing. You could be SouthSider... SoxAce.. this is by no means a knock on you, but you shouldn't accuse anyone of posting a lot and spamming when you're one of the top 3 posters daily.. Hey southsider can you split this thread or something?
  9. Is it time for a new 5 questions soon, Yoda?
  10. You f***heads keep this s*** out of my thread. :fyou I am serious though. This thread could stay around for a long time.
  11. My two friends.. they are brothers.. they drink WAYYYY too much pop. It's insane. It's not gonna end up being good for them, but meh. I usually have a bunch of bottles of water (from fountains) and 1 can of lemon lime soda a day. ANd some lemonade if I'm at work. Does this mean the quote "I almost always have a Mountain in my hand" is invalid now, Tony?
  12. Doesn't Sierra Mist go flast fast though? I'm with you. Brown pops are nasty and I can't even drink caffeine anymore because I hadn't had it for so long that I can taste it and it's pretty gross. Kinda like when you first drink coffee.
  13. Because Red Sox fans have had to deal with curses so we shouldn't try to make them look bad. I mean, look what they've been through.
  14. What's your opinion of JOse Valentin?
  15. Ross Gload, Timo Perez, primo bench players. Davis and Burke will be a fine catching tandem next year. Davis if we need some power in the lineup, Burke if we need some base hit guys in the lineup. Marte, very inconsistent. He's already pitched a years worth of innings, shut him down Ozzie.
  16. Pretty amazing, I didn;t hear anything about it. I figured they would have had it a top thing on BBTN and went on and on about how much Sox fans suck. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?section=mlb&id=1874398 Associated Press CHICAGO -- A man ran across the outfield during Chicago's 7-5 victory over Seattle on Friday night and was arrested. The game was delayed when Michael Tremberth, 26, of Carol Stream emerged from the stands after Juan Uribe's home run in the sixth inning. Wearing a black shirt and shorts, Tremberth was tackled and taken away in handcuffs after leading 11 security guards on a chase from right field to left-center. He deked one security guard, but was quickly controlled. Tremberth was charged with criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, police spokesman John Mirabelli said. Seattle's Ichiro Suzuki was in right field when the fan ran by. "It kind of scared me because he came from a place I couldn't see him," Suzuki said through an interpreter. "If he came from a place where I could see him, I wouldn't have been worried. "I heard about what happened at the Olympics, though I didn't see it," said Suzuki, referring to last weekend's marathon, when a man ran onto the course in Athens. The White Sox tightened security after Kansas City first-base coach Tom Gamboa was attacked by two spectators on Sept. 19, 2002, and umpire Laz Diaz was attacked by a fan on April 16 last year. White Sox spokesman Scott Reifert said Tremberth will face a $1,000 fine and up to 30 days in jail
  17. We may be his only option. Can't we only offer him a minimum of 11 million due to arbitration?
  18. That's too hypothetical. It could happen, but hey, if I'm some rapist, and I rape that "cute girl", then they know who I am and what I said. If I'm a terrorist, they've got me caught. It's not just a con-riddled idea. It has it's pro's too.
  19. That was a hit going up the middle.
  20. tmar, we thought the key to success was power the past 4 years, now I think we've learned our lesson.
  21. Holy s***. I thought all this was just a big joke... people are taking it seriously!?
  22. Come to the chat. http://www.whitesoxcentral.com/chat.html
  23. Holy crap! I just ran out of salsa... but now... Town House crackers and the dreaded Easy Cheese... sooo fake.. but sooo goooood. Ohhhh!
  24. That would be awesome. I hope it's televised in Chicago.
