Gio will be the third pitcher for the US.

So....for some good news regarding Sox pitching........ Charlie Haeger worked 5 innings today, giving up one run on two hits, one walk and nine strikeouts. Heath Phillips went 3 innings in relief, giving up one hit and one walk with two K, and Boone Logan worked a perfect ninth for a save. And we can all watch Josh Fields in the Futures Game in about 30 mins.

Tomorrow cannot come soon enough.

A great chance to see the Sox top prospect, Josh Fields, as well as Anderson Gomes. Here are the rosters: I'd have to imagine Josh will get some serious time. It'll also be the first chance for a lot of people to see Gio Gonzalez.

I believe it was JimH who said that the pitcher like throwing to Stew.....either way....it seemed that Olivo was at his best catching Loaiza. I'd love to see his CERA for pitchers not named Esteban in years past.

Or we can have Stew for relatively nothing for the next couple years.
