As you guys know, my tennis season hasn't gone well....that continued with districts today..... My partner and I had to play the #1 undefeated seed from Dubuque.... Anyone who plays tennis knows you have to put a bit of force behind a tennis ball to lodge it in a fence....I did that today in warmups....I thought that was cool until the guy from Dubuque hit the ball thru the fence. At that point, I knew we were f***ed. We lost 6-0, 6-0 to end the season. We woulda had one game in there, as we were up 40-15 in one game, and I got a good 4 foot out of bounds as the guy from the other team was preparing to smash it....I thought I got out of the way....not so....I proceed to get smoked by a tennis ball in the arm that woulda been out by twenty feet except for the fact I'm slow. Someone hold me....

They're letting anyone do this gig these days!!!

Whenever I see this game, I have to rent it and dig out the old 64. Anyone else addicted to this game like I am? Disclaimer: I've played 4 tennis matches today at a nearby college in an invite...lost all 4....so I'm a little off. I did play a pickup hoops game against a guy from Nepal and a girl. I didn't let the girl score.....and I stuffed her once. I wasn't letting that b**** take it to the hole.

I wondered what some of you thought about this guy...38 and still playing balls-out. My favortie player of all-time.

I figure the Sox need some help to salvage a game...so I'm starting this thread with the magical powers bestowed only on me and Scott Bikowski.

I think we start August 18th.....we'll get two hour early outs the first couple weeks (probably) because of the heat.....and I'll have my last day May 12th (I believe) no matter what....I think ten days have to be missed before Seniors have to make them up....so I'm really hoping for a snowy winter.
