  1. Of course. Eloy, make them pay.
  2. Man, if Leury was 100% that would have been a leadoff triple. Get him over, get him in.
  3. BTW, Luis Robert has risen to MLB.com's #5 prospect.
  4. Eh, maybe not once we get a few runs next inning. Eh? Ehhh??? -- Losing someone over the age of 35 for not going $20 million a year isn't a huge deal to me. Also, what a terrible walk
  5. I'd be in for something more like 2 yr/$28, certainly not $40
  6. Your third player doesn't even exist
  7. I actually think Madrigal could outhit Yolmer right now.
  8. At least we are finally taking advantage of that outside corner
  9. Yolmer has been flashing the leather tonight.
  10. Haha, go ahead and b**** about one missed call.
  11. Hey! We got someone on for {checks notes} one of our Jose's
  12. Hi Jose, I'd appreciate an extra base hit here. Love, me
  13. An absolute trash inning out of the Cubs hitters. If we b**** about our guys, that was absolutely terrible out of theirs.
  14. Maybe don't leave one out over the plate to Schwarber this time
  15. It was 92 and it was fouled off
  16. Waiting for Hamels to pump one at 91 over the plate and for Tim to hammer it
  17. hahah, never do that again tim
  18. couldn't have said it any better
  19. wonderful at bat by leury
  20. the cubs can eat my butt with a spoon
  21. I mean, I know someone who watched every single THT game in college... His shot has a ways to go. He was so incredibly streaky behind the arc. He was a much more effective offensive player when he realized there aren't a lot of guys that could stay in front of him. He doesn't strike me as a first round pick, but I've seen him in some mocks land there. He certainly has the ability to defend but he certainly didn't show that trait off to where he was a defensive stopper or anything, though he wasn't really asked to be in that role. He was incredibly physically unique in high school, was somewhat unique in college, but I don't know that he'd be worth a first round pick. Of course, if he learns to shoot (and he's still so young) and figures out how to use his body, he's an NBA player.
