Yup

I think our targets of Conforto and Rodon have a lot of reasons to both wait until later in the off-season. Since both have question marks, it makes sense for them both to wait until there are less options and more teams who are willing to pony up after being left alone at the ball.

Pretty Meh with Cleveland last year in 18 IP. 92 ERA+ 5.43 FIP

Yup - the more I’ve thought about it… the more I do not see the Mets moving McNeil.

I sincerely hope ( and doubt ) that is possible.

My best guess is that we’re at a stand still with Conforto / Boras… they’re asking for a multi year pact and we’re stuck in the sand offering a pillow contract. What the hold up is with Kimbrel… no clue but my guess is that it’s something related to medicals. Or everything we’ve heard so far is 7:26pm bullshit.

Rotation: Giolito, Lynn, Cease, Rodon, Kopech Line-up: SS - Anderson CF - Robert 1B - Abreu 3B - Moncada C - Grandal DH - Eloy RF - Conforto LF - Vaughn 2B - Segura

@wsd hearing anything today?

They can indeed talk trades but there will be a freeze on transactions… so they can’t be completed until a new CBA is reached.

Robert.

No

One extreme is: Sign Graveman and keep Kimbrel. Off-season over. Another is: Sign Scherzer, Semien, Graveman, and Castillanos. Our reality will end up being in-between.

7:26pm

Seems like I’ve been here before, seems so familiar. Seems like I’m slippin into a dream within a dream. It’s the way you whisper…

What about if Castellanos costs 7/140?

Castellanos is gonna get a 7 or 8 year deal… with another team, thankfully. I’m good with Rodon or Ray or a SP trade + Schwarber + Tephera + Trade Kimbrel for a backup catcher and second baseman

He’s lying - it is Wheeler.

Okey dokie.

Legends.

Enjoy it while you can… coming from someone who had his son taken away by a psycho ex that lied relentlessly in family law court.

7:26pm.

Castellanos + Schwarber + Bassit/Montas/Meada/Gray + Romy or Conforto + Rodon + Segura

At best… this is going to be painful.

You’re thinking of another Michael… though his name being a phonetic “my cock” doesn’t seem to bode well for credibility.
