  1. Yea that was amazing. Remember when Crede was still finding “it” and this board ( myself included) used to call him: Joe “all I do is fucking pop up” Crede? ?
  2. Yea and I only really pay attention to the Sox... individual players from other teams for development reasons. Know the angels suck but that’s about it. ?
  3. I had my face painted half white and half black in Anaheim for game 5, sitting near the left foul pole on the field level. Some drunk dude in a tie died shirt in front of me was yelling obscenities at me... and everyone was telling him that kids were around and to calm it down. ? Walking out of the stadium angles fans were congratulating our team and the parking lot afterward became a huge White Sox talegate party. Best way for an out of state life long California Sox fan to live out that year. ?
  4. Remember how they fell apart though until the last couple games of the season? And the Indians were ballin all out?
  5. A part of me is enjoying remembering why I dislike the Indians and Twins... that seems better than being upset we “only” got the 4th pick in the upcoming draft... or being upset we just missed out on a protected first round pick in the top 10. ?
  6. Forget everything I said here. Didn’t work, obviously. ?
  7. We’re going to see a small sample size of what the offseason will look like. Humility isn’t something that we manufacture as it’s a virtue born from being absolutely crushed. The funny thing about it though is that once experienced, there isn’t any other characteristic that can be more transformative to lift people up. Strange contradiction but it’s very true. The proud are opposed. The humble are lifted up. Let’s see if this happens quickly for the Chicago White Sox or if it happens slowly.
  8. This absolutely reminds me of 2005. Hardcore.
  9. Bookmarked for later. ?
  10. This. The team, even if the crap the bed for the next 5 games and get blown out swept in the first round... will be completely humbled by that. They’ll be crushed. Demoralized. Put out to pasture. They’ll see the glaring missed opportunities and the holes in their game. And they’ll sit on that for a few months. The talent is there. They’ll experience more drive. They’ll get better. They’ll mature and grow. Even if they lose out from here, I’ll still in the single way... be happy.
  11. I’ll bet you guys that Madrigal went to the locker room and while still suited up told everyone single player and coach that this loss was on him for the GIDP with the bases juiced. Why? Because the kid is that kind of player. He will emerge as a leader in a couple years.
  12. This has been the hardest game of the year to watch and it really shouldn’t be this flipping close.
  13. This is one of the worst strike zones I’ve ever seen
  14. WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK
  15. Anyone else hear the crowd noise saying “let’s go Sox”?
  16. That’s not strike three blue?
