All year he has struggled with RISP which fits his three true outcome profile. Additionally he has been in a slump over a 30 game period now whereas he’s striking out at a 30% clip and is only hitting a bomb at about a 1 in 30 ab pace. That isn’t getting it done from the cleanup spot. So, while I’m still a huge believer in this kid, I do think it might be a good time to move him down to 5th, 6th, or 7th in the lineup… and move someone else into the cleanup spot who can help us improve our team LOB numbers. We finally saw it today with Grich in the 4 hole. What say ya‘ll?
