I think it’s WAAAAAY to premature to say this. They’ve only played what… 6 games so far since the break and are .500 in them? I just checked. 8 games played. 4 wins and 4 losses. +6 run differential. Waaaaaaay too soon to call that “coming back down to earth.” They could have won two more of those games. If they had we’d be looking at a 6-2 record since the break and we‘d be up 3.5 games. Everyone’s tune would be totally different. Take a Xanax and give it some time. This is going to be a dog fight in August and I’m here for it.

They should buy when it makes sense. May that be controllable assets or rentals that are reasonable and don’t require prospect capital. Just because they started this home stand with two losses, that absolutely changes nothing when it comes to the deadline approach. Yup yup. Anytime this team scores 5+ runs, I fully expect to win. Today’s game is 100% on the pitching staff. Sure, the offense had its woes with RISP ( AGAIN ) but they certainly did enough to give their number 2 every reason in the book to pull down a W. I’m fucking pissed.

It’s usually a good rule that as Vargie and Colson go, so do the White Sox… but today is mainly on Hudson… which has been rare.

I do think it may be worth potentially putting someone else in the four hole that is a more well rounded hitter than Colson.

Yea, people will just need to accept that Colson is most likely going to be a three true outcome guy with plus defense. Pretty sure we all agree that his time at short is numbered with Roch waiting in the wings.
