Bold prediction which may not be so bold… Davis will be shut down with a phantom injury and Thorpe will make his return in his place on 8/18 against the Cubs. We have to production down the stretch and in the playoffs from what had been our Number 1 spot in the rotation for the first half. This has been a black hole taxing our entire team. Of all our challenges and areas to improve, this is just too glaring to remain stagnant. There is a reason most of the entirety of Soxtalk wanted Getz to get us two starting pitchers.
