HUH? The first half offense was Pods getting on, Stealing 2nd or Iguchi moving him over.. then having 2 chances to drive him in. The 2nd half when Pods went down is when we started to reply on the HR ball way to often. And have been in that mode ever since. Also, hard to win when your offense doesn't score any runs.. Never in the history of the game, has any team won with their offense scoring 0 runs.. I don't care how well you pitch. Small ball is winning ball.. Just ask the Twins. You need power yes.. but to reply on it. not wise. I want the Sox to become the piranha's of the ALC, not have to worry that we are down 3 in the 5th.. We will just get a run in the 6th, 7th, and 8th.. and then one more in the 9th to win it.

I want no part of Tejada..The last thing this club needs is another power bat in the lineup.. I would have thought 2005 and the 1st half offense would have shown the fans something. How to play baseball the right way, which leads to winning baseball. But, it seems most fans are stuck in the riods era of having 5 guys hit 30hrs makes for great highlights on baseball tonight.. does not make for winning baseball.

Other than this year and maybe last.. The ALC has been a powerhouse? KC, DET and Cleveland all sucked Twins were the only one we really had to worry about. KW had the same hurrdles to face as did John.. It just KW failed while John succeeded.

I have studied JKD for a couple of years Brazilian juijitsu for a couple of years MMA for a couple of years.. What people above failed to ask.. What are you doing this for? IMO, either start with KungFu or JKD, both give you a basis foundation for other forms. I did it backwards, I took Brazilian jujitsu, then stand up. But, in the end you need to tell me/us what your goals are for this..Brazilian is amazing for cardio, I was in the best shape (cardio wise) in my life when I trained. 6 hours a week of sparing will kick your ass into shape fast.

Both at one time were models of one another... Build from within, good trades and solid all around. The issue came into play when Geroge started to add funding to the players side in order to buy a title.. in 7 years.. it has not worked. Building from within your own system is the way to make sure you can have more than 1 lucky title to your credit.

I do hold the players accountable.. Mark had 2 bad months in 06, which hurt our team. But, was KW really that stupid to think that Cotts and Cliff would duplicate their performance from 05.. It seems so. The lack of a solid Bullpen (KW trademark) is what killed us last year. Then going into this year we had 3 solid arms, he forgets to sign one of them. Did we really think garland would keep his mid-3's era when his career suggests he is a mid-high 4's era.. I think not. KW made this big huge speech about stating pat and not winning.. is that just what he did? As for the offense this year.. Dye is a .275/23/80 type player who had a career year.. Did we all think he would be able to duplicate this..with out spending the offseason with Bonds? Pods, injured in 06, and resigned, which I thought was a wise move..as along as we had a back-up plan for him.. which we didn't. But according to you I should hold Dye accountable for not having another career year and for Pods who has shown he is injury prone, I should blame him for being injuried..again? Paulie I do though.. he doesn't have an excuse, he is the offense Captain..he needed to step it up and failed. KW, lack of moves is what brought us a championship.. if it were up to him, Uribe would be playing 2b, Omar Vazquel SS and Jarret Wright would be our SP. But, KW should thanks Giants and Yankees GM's for outbidding him.

This franchise has never had a successful GM.. Luck yes.. Successful no.. Big Difference.

Coaches can only work with what they are given.. When you give them crap, it shows up on the field. Ozzie, Tony LaRussa, Jim Leyland.. none could have made this team win this year... or any previous years.. Kw point blank does not know how to build a complete team.. HUGE RED FLAG.

I am using perspective.. 1 playoff stint in 7 years.. which was based on allot of player having career years. I could care less about meaningless accomplishments.. Whoopie we won 86 games but failed to make the playoffs. making the playoffs is what I would call successful. And simply under KW we have failed to do it on a constant basis, because he simply cannot build a complete team. Now we are going to have a bad stretch of 3-4 years, because we have no farm system and the over priced players we have aren't worth the contract paper they signed. How is it the Twins were able to make it to the playoffs 4 times in 5 years, can make a trades.. that benfit a club for years..not just a year? How is it that Braves can win 14 divional titles, miss the playoffs once and look to go back the following year? I was calling for KW firing back in 03, after having season tickets and watched as he threw together a scrap heep called a bullpen, adn wonder why the Twins caught us in the end. So don't think it is just because of this year, he got a free pass last year because of 05.. but the free pass is over, its time to see what he is.. a below avg GM. But if you want to defend a failure.. go ahead, that is your gig.. you can be like WCSox.. who disagrees with me.. Who also think Pablo should be playing 2b, Uribe SS and ROb Mac in LF.. would make us a winner again... . If KW can fix this sinking ship and we are back in the playoffs next year, I will be the first to eat my words.. My guess and his track record.. I have nothing to worry about.
